I love this place. I really only get the shawarma wrap — I should branch out, but it’s just so good! I’m here about once a week for lunch. Best shawarma in the area.

Do you remember the Avengers movie where Iron Man is downed in one scene towards the end of the movie? When he comes too, his mind shifs gears from battling bad guys to eating Shawarma. I think he was talking about this place. Super YUMMY! Thanks for feeding my tummy!

Really surprised about the food given the high ratings. It was a clean, friendly place, but food was quite bland and surprisingly the chicken shwarma was dry and not that flavorful. Really not that good at all.

I have been a many times and the service was good. this happened few months back, i am a vegetarian and the owner served me the chicken shawarma. i complained to the owner that why did he serve me that and he was not apologetic and said God will not punish you if you eat meat. i didn’t even say anything religious but he used those words. the worst behavior ever I had got in the entire US. the worst customer service ever.

Hands down, this is the best middle eastern place you can go to. Their falafel sandwich and baklawa are just amazing. I’ve tried falafel so many places but none comes even close to this one and baklawa just marks the perfect finish to the meal. Definitely recommend.

This place is hands down the best for Shawarma in Boston! I highly recommend the Lamb Shawarma sandwich. If you feel especially ravenous, try the Shawarma dinner. I have tried all their Baklava varieties and I liked the Honey Walnut Baklava the best. Vegetarians will like the Falafel Sandwich or Falafel dinner. What’s more, you get a free soda with your order. The service is quick and the owner likes to listen to feedback to keep improving the customer experience. This place just got new chairs and tables and the new arrangement makes it look bigger.

Worst service ever! Really disappointed! I came after seeing the high reviews here. I ordered a mix chicken and meat kabobs. he told me that will take 10 mint. Then I repeat my order after noticing him replace the meat kabobs with a regular shawerma meat. He said by then. Ooh sorry if you want Kabob you have to wait 15 minutes! I said Ok I would wait and after 15 minutes I asked him again then he said ”sorry my friend kabob needs 1 hour to be prepared” ??? Because I was in hurry to catch up with my trips I took chicken with rice. Taste is not bad! I would give it maximum of 2 point. Small space stuffed with cheep tables and chair. Price is acceptable. 12 $ for the meal with soda. Restaurant that I would never come back to it or recommend it…

I just discovered this place last week and am already in love with it!(two visits in a week) Both times I had the meat sharma. Cooked to perfection not dried or greasy. I asked to have it without the Pita(dietary reasons :() and I was surprise to see the extra salad I received! Their pickles are super delicious too. Totally loved it and will def go back!

This. place. is. the. BEST. Not only are the staff(and especially the owner) the nicest and most respectful people, their food is delicious! I highly recommend the shwarma and pretty much any dessert. I go here on a regular basis and have never been let down. I bring all of my friends and hear only raving reviews from all of them as well. I’ll say it, this is my favorite place around Northeastern’s campus and will forever be, just that. Just go!

I was back at Boston Shawarma tonight and the food was better than ever. Please see the pictures that I just added. As usual I was again greeted with warmth heart by the owner. Upon my entery I noticed a brand new large flat screen tv along with new menu board with Mediterranean style… very tastfully done. The food was heavnly great. Not salty, not greecy, perefectly made. BOSTONSHAWARMA, PLEASEKEEPUPTHEGOODWORK. I love your food…

Great food and prices. The staff is friendly and service is quick. We love the combo plate with chicken and lamb — the sauces are fresh and tasty. Don’t miss the baklava!

As a Northeastern student, this really is one of the best places to grab lunch near campus(bonus: they take Husky dollars!) So far, I’ve tried the chicken garlic sandwich, lamb shawarma, falafel, hummus and a sample of their rice pudding — all are DELICIOUS and never disappoint. I look forward to trying the hallumi cheese and tabouleh. Seriously, the last time I had Lebanese food this good was across the pond. On top of the food, the staff is very friendly, and the place is clean and much more spacious than it looks from the outside. Give this place a try if you’re in the area.

All I can say is this. My friend and I popped in here one evening after gallivanting around the MFA and trying to quiet down that hangry voice in our stomachs. We ordered two chicken shawarmas, and to our delighted surprise, found some fries in them as we ate our shawarmas on the benches outside on a balmy summer night. Friend: «What’s this? Did they drop some fries in here accidentally?» Me: «Maybe…I didn’t get any.» *insert sadface emoji* ***2 minutes later*** Me: «Oh shit! I found some fries!» *makes face similar to when you find $ 5 on the sidewalk* I walk in to throw our trash away, and the nice man behind the counter asks, «How did you like your sandwiches?» Me: «OHMYGOD, there were fries in them. Did you accidentally drop them in there?» Man: «Oh, I forgot to tell you they were in there. We put a layer of fries in them. Did you not like them?» Me: «No! We loved them! It was the best surprise I’ve ever gotten in food.» So, gentlemen. If you ever want to propose to your lady… All I have to say is, drop some fries in a chicken shawarma, throw a ring in there, and if she’s smart, there’s no way in hell she could say no. At least to the shawarma…:D

I got the chicken shawarma and I devoured it so quickly I almost wanted to order a lamb shawarma right away, but I came to my senses, realized I was totally stuffed, and decided to come back another time to try the lamb. As other reviews have said, it’s not a *nice* restaurant but the food is fantastic. They have a summer special: you get a free can of soda or bottle of water with every shawarma! They also had a rose rice pudding $ 5 that I really wanted to try but thought I’d save it for next time. The owner was extremely pleasant, professional, and respectful to ALL patrons(we visited 8÷1÷2015). We’ll definitely be back, especially since we live within walking distance!

The place isn’t much to look at, so maybe not the best place to dine in after sightseeing around Boston, but the food is really good. We got the lamb shawarma, chicken kabob, chicken shawarma — and all of us really, REALLY enjoyed our sandwiches. I only had the lamb shawarma, and I would definitely recommend it(get it spicy)! They’re generous with the meat and the bread that they use isn’t the generic store bought pita bread that gets soggy — it’s some sort of wrap-type bread that makes it very on-the-go friendly. Can’t wait to be back for a good shawarma sammie that really hits the spot :)
