Boston Beer Works

My flight was delayed, and I stopped here to kill time and quench my thirst. I just had beer and didn’t order any food. They offered a few craft beers in addition to the standard national selections. Their prices were not cheap but not outrageous. I would return if I’m ever in the airport again with time to kill.

Avoid at all costs!

The truly bad part was the food. Decided to go with something simple, chicken tenders. Nothing to really mess up there right? WRONG! their definition of chicken tenders are rubbery pieces of chicken witha brown skin, not breading, on them that made them look like something that was served in a high school cafeteria in the 80s, tho mistery meat would probably have been wayy better
The dipping sauces were more like water with foodcoloring in them
Just a horrendous experience. Go to potbelly snadwiches right across. They are way better

Location is convenient but service is sub par, waitress was not happy to clean the table off before we sat down. Felt like she wanted me to do it… Did not try the food but was served beer in a warm glass :(

Worst service ever! If I could give 0 stars I would. 7am first customers in. We were the Last waited on. 35 min later I asked why everyone else was eating. Waitress RUDE. She should be fired. Rather starve to death than eat here.

My coworker was arriving in Boston an hour after me so I decided to have breakfast at Boston Beer Works while I waited for her. This may be a great spot for a burger and beer, but breakfast? Not so much!
The coffee was the highlight of my meal. After my 6am flight this was the only thing keeping me from falling asleep at my table! I ordered the Eggs Benedict and was disappointed to see that my poached eggs were so overcooked that they were almost hard boiled. I would have sent the dish back, but I had waited so long for my food that I didn’t have time to wait for the kitchen to remake my breakfast. I ate around the overcooked yolks and filled up on potatoes.
Skip the breakfast at Boston Beer Works and grab a bagel instead. It will be faster, cheaper, and most likely taste better!

Mario was our waiter… busy airport eatery and somehow he made us feel like we were his only customers. Good food & great service. Thanks Mario! If we’re ever at Logan we’ll be sure to visit Boston Beer Works again.

I have been to all the Boston beer Works in the Boston area and this one by far is at the bottom of all of them. I ordered a hamburger with no cheese and chips and received a hamburger with no bun and no cheese and a bag of chips. I was disappointed because the other Boston beer Works I have been to gave me homemade potato chips and in this case I got bagged chips. The two raw onion rings that came on the burger were actually smaller than the pickles, there was no lettuce and the bun look like it had been heated up rather then put on the grill. The food itself was good it just didn’t feel like it was Boston beer Works standards and that it was more of a low-​end lunch. The staff was very friendly and corrected any issues I had with my meal immediately. I would go back again I just think that the quality of food being put out at this location is below the standards of every other Boston beer Works in the area

I had the grilled shrimp skewers with Jasmine Rice and Broccoli. Service was amazing and the quality of the meal was superb. To be honest I ordered the right meal that night. Too good. I hope to return back and try other items on the menu on my next visit. The restaurant was clean and had a new vibe. They have a full Bar with Wine, Beer & Cocktails. Mario was my server that night and he was excellent, a true asset to the establishment. Always checking on me if I needed anything. I look forward to coming again the next time I stop though this airport.

The presentation was good. When I saw the claim that they had the «Best burger money can buy» I knew it was hyperbolic but I kept my expectations high. It was okay for the most part. I had a classic burger with pepper jack cheese along with cheese fries. The burger was pretty average but the bun was done really well. One of the best burger buns I’ve had. The fries were not good. It was just a congealed mess.
The service was great. I really liked that I was never left waiting for anything. In terms of airport food it’s solid.

Well I’ll never eat here again before a flight! Mediocre service at best… obviously under-​staffed, chaotic, and not very friendly overall. Skip this place and go to Legal…

Disappointing Eggs Benedict. The «poached» eggs had a fully cooked yolk, rather than a runny yolk, and the Canadian ham was quite dry. Also took them 40 minutes to get this to us. Would go to Potbelly’s across from them instead next time.

Probably my favorite stop when in terminal C at Logan on my way out. If the flight time coincides with lunch time, I make it a point to come here if Legal is overcrowded — as it usually is. But then sometimes this one is even more crowded and then I have to make do with waiting for one.
My favorite thing to do here besides having the standard food offerings on the menu is to try the seasonal brews. I am an IPA kinda guy but definitely like to be adventurous with the new beers on the tap. The BlueBerry Ale is a perfect beer for lunch in my opinion. Not only do the blueberries in the beer don’t seem out of place, they actually serve as the perfect garnish.
Coming to their IPAs, I really think BBW does a great job with them. I am behind schedule on trying all the new breweries that have sprung up in the city, but my traveling boots give me the opportunity to try out the best IPAs in town when either at Fenway before a ball game or at Terminal C at this small joint (wish they had more space — my only gripe!)
Back Bay IPA and the Contender IPA totally blew me away. They both have that level of tartness — which is almost similar to the hoppiness — that I tend to like in my IPAs.
The food has been satisfactory. Nothing out of this world I must say. Different salad choices, fish and chips, the burgers. Have tried so many of their menu items. Definitely a better option if you know you are not flying first class and have to get something on board. No complains at all. Again, only wish they had a bigger space. That L shaped bar has too many bar stools too close to each other and the tables too few. But if I had to stand and eat /​drink something rather than getting food from any place else in this terminal, I would prefer standing here and fill this tiny tummy up.

Nobody would accuse Logan’s terminal C of being a welcome sight for a weary traveler, and certainly not a beer aficionado’s paradise. If you desperately need a brew better than Bud Light or Heineken, at least you have one good option. This outpost of a local brewpub chain has a few seasonal drafts and a decent stable of year-​round choices, including a respectable oatmeal stout that you won’t find at most airport bars. The food is your average passable bar food, not necessarily anything to excite your taste buds but enough to satisfy. Of the limited options in the terminal, this is the one any beer lover should head to first.

Sunday 9÷6÷2015. Early AM. ~6:30 — 7:30. This place is a MESS!# Dining area more than ½ tables not cleaned! Dirty tables uncleaned for OVER A FULL HOUR. What the hell. Management do you want to be in food busieness or «NOT»?

Had eggs Benedict. One paper thin slice of ham/​bacon. Cottage fries OK. Garnish wilted lettuce topped with wilted, dried julianned carrots.

2 eggs w/​sausage links. Asked eggs over hard. We’re burnt. One sausage raw. Asked for replacement. Waiter accommodated with 3 additional. They were cooked thru.

Asked for water in VERY beginning. Did not receive until AFTER meal, and asking 3 times.

Saw at least 10 people come in. Look. Then leave. A couple of others came in sat down, then got up and left.

Decent beer and food, and yummy cheesecake. Decent prices for an airport. Cons? No outlets at the bar, TV was playing pro children’s little league, and the music was way too loud. I ended up finishing my beer and finding another place for my second.

For a restaurant in the airport, this was especially bad.
They have a «seat yourself» situation which is a disaster, and allows servers to completely ignore those who have sat down, because how should they know if you’re new or have been helped yet?
We waited for a while before a server came by after we caught her attention, asked for waters and a menu. She returned with a menu, no waters, and seemed VERY offended when I asked for the waters we had ordered. All the while, we could hear the other servers loudly talking about other customers.
Our waitress continued to be very rude to us in all her interactions, and it took FOREVER to get 2 chicken sandwiches. When we did it was clear there were 2 different type of frozen sweet potato fries being used. My husband’s were burnt, and mine were barely cooked and mushy.
At an airport, you need to get people in an out quick. This took over an hour, for mediocre food. Save your time and go to au ban pain or potbelly instead. This is NOT worth the wait.

So, for airport food this place is no joke. Their beer is delicious and their food is actually really good. To drink I had the blueberry beer which was light, crisp, and delicious. For food I got the beer braised steak tips which was tender, flavorful, and all around delicious.
My buddy got the southern fried chicken sandwich which was also really good. Overall, if you’re at Logan and craving some good food… I highly recommend stopping here.

A convenient stopover to our terminal, Beer Works served a decent brunch with decent mimosas to hold us over until we arrived at our destination. Since it’s on the way to the JetBlue domestic gates, I wasn’t surprised when we found it challenging to fit four of us and our luggage in the tiny space.
With that being said, nothing was really out of the ordinary for me to rate my visit as more than just average.
Our waitress was certainly friendly enough, obliging to our requests for Chambord mimosas as soon as we sat down. I ordered the eggs Benedict, and the rest of the group ordered French toast and the breakfast sandwich special. The meals were decent — the eggs weren’t broken on the Benedict and the guys huffed their sandwiches (which is an indicator of two things — good meal or hunger). The mini bottle of syrup with the French toast was a nice touch.
About ¾ of the way through our meal, the POS system had gone down. Of course, this meant another round of mimosas to share in our waitress’s lamenting. When it came time to pay, we only had a finite amount of cash, and could only pay the cost of food and drinks, not tip. Our waitress apologized for the inconvenience, but it was a benefit to us — $ 72 worth of mimosas before we’ve even left the airport was cut down to $ 50.
Next time I’ll have a beer with my brunch.

Great place to stop in for a bite if you’ve got a few minutes between flights. I’ve had breakfast here a few times as I’m quite fond of an early flying schedule. The staff is nice and the food comes out pretty fast.
I’ve had a melt and a burger, both have been excellent. Home fries with breakfast and regular fries for the lunch/​dinner side. I need to try more things on the menu which means I need to get to flying ASAP.
It’s a no frills kind of place which I like for needing a fast, delicious place to eat. A beer on tap and a burger will do you here.
