Really a chill atmosphere and always really nice staff Coffee is good for my standards and food I think is GREAT for such a small little place. Make sure to try one of their peanut butter cookies! Amazing! They have wifi which to me is extremely important for a coffee company. Only con is this location on Salem st doesn’t have enough outlets. Simple fix. Can you all get some extensions?

Their drinks are good. I haven’t fried their sandwiches or the pies but they definately look good.

I am usually one of the people that likes to visit the«local» shops, and support the«local» shops… However this was a huge disappointment. The coffee wasn’t great, and the barista didn’t offer up any sizes for the coffee drinks, I assumed that if i ordered a triple shot latte it would come in something bigger than a «small». The Hot cocoa was disgusting, we both tried it and couldn’t tolerate more than a sip. The people seemed to all be on their laptops, some singing out loud to themselves.

I will say overall this is a great place. The drinks are good, the food is good, and everything is fresh. It’s a little expensive given some of the other places you could go to, but it’s got the North End charm that you might not otherwise get somewhere else. My only beef with this place, and the reason I only give it 4 stars, is that it’s not a place you would go if/when you’re in rush before work or something. I don’t think people in this place know how to even move fast! On a busy morning you’ll wait in line for about 10 minutes, and then finally get one person away from ordering and the guy in front of you says«Hmm.what do I want?»…guy, what the hell were you just thinking about for the last 10 minutes?! And by the time you get up to order, if you’re ordering something that needs to be cooked or heated, forget about it! You’ll be there another 10 minutes. Overall it’s a great place, but my advice — go when you’re in no rush at all.

A decent place to visit. Coffee is a bit above average and the prices are pretty average for Boston. The lounge area is quite nice, which I have heard is something common at these locations.

This place is the best! My go to coffee shop. Their coffee is delicious. My only complaint is that the place is getting super crowded. Sometimes I see the line and turn away. This place is awesome, but it’s a little silly to wait inline 20 mins for a cup of joe. Maybe they can expand?

I had to work the last 2 Saturdays in the North End and starting with a coffee and bagel from Boston Bean Stock got me through the morning. Great coffee and the people behind the counter are great which is always important to me. Thanks for the great service. I will be back.

Best coffee place around! They have a great ambiance(couches, cool art and posters about local happenings) and free wifi! I even have a t shirt from there to represent! Oh, and the coffee es fantastico.

I’ve come to the Bean Stock a bunch of times and have always been satisfied. I usually grab a tasty egg and cheese sandwich on a buttery croissant and a hot chai. Their quiche is pretty yum too. On one memorable occasion I sampled their Chai-der which was awesome. A delightful blend of Chai tea and Hot Apple Cider. Strange, but good! On weekend mornings it’s super crowded, so be prepared to get your coffee and breakfast to go(the park is usually a good option when the weather is nice). If you do get a seat, it’s a pretty nice place to sit and chat for awhile.

I can’t believe I am the first one to review this place(!). I thought this café would be quite popular. I am going to review them on three things; coffee, pastries, café atmosphere. Coffee — very delicious. Its exactly what you expect to get for your couple of bucks per coffee; good roast, a variety of flavors, milks and so forth. Bottom line, you will get a very tasty cup of coffee. Pastries — amazing. Their chocolate croissants use Natella(I think) and I think the moistness and level of chocolate perhaps makes this the best chocolate croissant I ever had. I also had a chance to try their chocolate chip cookies, oreo brownies, cheesecake brownie and coffee cake. Each one of these items had something extra in it that made them really stand out. Their pastries have that home made taste when you dont go cheap on ingredients but use the finest cocoa and brown sugar. Bottom line, fantastic pastries. Café — Its nice and very down to earth. Very comfy with huge windows and lots of seating and internet junkies(like me). So for a Lincoln bill you can get a smooth cup of cofee(iced preferred), an amazing pastry rich in taste, and can sit in a fantastic little hole in the wall café(or outside of the weather permits). I highly recommend it. Check it out now before some large company buys them over and teaches them how to make their foods faster and cheaper… Cheers! Filip —
