Great ice cream. Got the Mango More smoothie. I can’t recommend it enough. You know how when you burp and the taste of the last thing you ate goes travels back up into your mouth? When I burped I tasted the mango and banana again… and you know it still tasted good. While prices have gone up over the years, the quality is still higher.

Obviously the ice cream is good… The problem is the workers. The girl helping me was so deliberately slow that I just wanted to forget it and go. She and her coworker had no interest in helping at all. Disappointing. Good thing there wasn’t a line.

Calling Gordon Ramsey!!! Ive often been accused of reviewing only trendy high end restaurants, so I hope this review softens my image! Ok, it’s pretty hard to mess up ice cream, but this location fails to meet the basic sanitary test. Having a bunch of teenagers scoop ice cream without gloves is downright disgusting. I went there earlier tonight and to see a teenager scooping ice cream with nails and scooper in hand. This should not be allowed. Maybe I am a little extra, but seriously, that is how germs spread, plus seeing part of my ice cream scoop fall into a cup from somebody’s hand(with dirt under nails) is just gross. Chef Ramsey that is a freaking real kitchen nightmare! Mr. O out!

Expensive and TINY sizes. My small would be a kiddie anywhere else. Plus my ice cream was halfway melted when they gave it to me. Tasted good though

Inside the food court at the Prudential Center shops, I stumbled upon this Ben & Jerry’s. I haven’t seen an actual scoop shop in a long while, since they closed the one out in Davis, CA. Branching out from my normal order of Strawberry Cheesecake, I opted for a new flavor, «Hazed and Confused» which I later realized was also one of the new«core» flavors: Chocolate and hazelnut ice creams with fudge chips and a hazelnut fudge core, along with a scoop of Chocolate Mint Chip just because. Not too busy at all, a few people ahead of and behind me in line. The service was extremely pleasant, two guys working the counter, the one that helped me recommended the other nearby Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop on Newbury for a larger variety of flavors to choose from, although I didn’t really have time to stop there specifically during the rest of my trip. A nice little Sunday afternoon treat, much better than just buying a pint at the local grocery store.

Even though it’s expensive ice cream, it’s delicious ice cream. My problem was that the gal who took my order mixed up one of my two flavors and I was mildly allergic to the fillings that were in the ice cream that I didn’t order. When I order two scoops in a waffle cone, and if I can’t eat half of it, it seems like a waste. I unfortunately didn’t realize that she’d gotten the ice cream mixed up until we were half a mall away and I was starting to have reactions. With this said, I’ll still go back.

One of my favorite Ben and Jerry’s locations in the Boston area. Plus, after you get ice cream you can walk around and shop at the Prudential Center. My favorite flavor is definitely Cherry Garcia :) The staff is so nice and gives great recommendations when you’re not sure what to order. John is great! He made my friend a delicious milkshake with two different ice cream flavors. He also gave us a Ben & Jerry’s card that will give us 10% percent off for the entire year!

The theme seems to be ice cream with an attitude… But at least it’s absolutely fabulous ice cream. The deal: get a free pru card at the customer service desk to receive 10% percent off here all year long, as well as discounts at most food court vendors. Get a free level up card to receive $ 2 off here too!

They had chocolate therapy! THE best B&J’s flavor. YUMMMMM. I was feeling wimpy and got a kids size, which was definitely enough ice cream seeing as they really filled/packed the cup. Thanks! :)

Great place to grab some ice cream if you’re on the run. The blueberry graham cracker island greek yogurt was great! It wasn’t too sweet. Add it on top of a waffle cone and you’ve got a great dessert. The service was quick and nice.

As far as Ben & Jerry’s go, this one doesn’t quite seem to match up. Every other establishment in the food court has long lines while this one has no line whatsoever… there is a reason for that. The few times I’ve been here, the ice cream seems almost like it hasn’t been fully mixed properly & has had a tacky texture to it. Also, you do have to wait a minute or so for someone to actually come out of the back to serve you, as they are not out there normally.

I’ve gotten ice cream here several times mostly just because of its choice location. The flavors are limited and the service sucks for the most part, to be perfectly honest. I had a guy flat out ignore me and serve the people behind me once, and another time I had a girl get pissed off at me because SHE initially misunderstood what type of cone I wanted. If you’re in the Pru don’t plan on going anywhere else, I guess I would settle for this, but if you’re going to be walking around, opt for the Emack & Bolio’s, JP Licks, or other Ben & Jerry’s location on Newbury Street nearby.

It was not enjoyable to be eating ice cream and smelling fried things from the chinese food joint across from it or the stir fries from the japanese joint next to it.(You know the smell of fried things– where it’s infused in your clothings?) The food court is just small and crowded, but there are off hours so it’s alright. Not a whole wide range of flavors at this B&J.
