You have to find your way to this hole in the wall place filled with hungry locals and travelers alike. It’s got a flavorful grill and they make the eggs just as you want. With butter is the best way. Butter makes everything better I always say. There are many tourist traps in the north end. This is not one of them. It’s not gourmet and that is only part of the charm.

Favorite iced coffee in North End(crushed ice makes it), friendly staff and awesome food. All breakfast sandwiches and the turkey BLT are bomb!

We stopped here during a layover a few days ago and got a quick breakfast of french toast & eggs with potatoes and toast. I threw it all up after about 2 hours and my fiancé didn’t feel great either. Not sure what was up with it as it tasted fine while we ate but I won’t be eating my usual over easy eggs for a while. :/The service was quick but blunt and not super friendly.

Solid breakfast place. We had the blueberry pancakes and french toast. Both were very good. Cash only but there is an ATM inside. They do a great job with the space they have but it is tiny. If you are eating it there, be prepared to be squished in a bit. You can get anything to go so taking it down by the water instead is a good choice if it’s too crowded.

A no frills, cash only, seat yourself, breakfast on paper plate kind of place but definitely a tasty spot outside of the north end. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and they turn through customers very quickly. Most places are packed for Sunday brunch in the North End so it was nice to snag a table at 10:45 on a sunday. My only complaint was that the hashbrowns were pretty bland, I got the steak and eggs and there was a very generous serving of steak and eggs all for under $ 10.

Anthony’s was my light in the tunnel My friend and I was delusional, we needed food and coffee after a long morning walk throughout Haymarket and the North End. We were famished and stumbled upon Anthony’s. It looked very quaint and charming from the outside. We went inside and it looked like a family owned small business-those where you get the warm and fuzzy feeling of love and comfort. They have a menu with a lot of variety for lunch and breakfast. I ordered the corn beef hash with eggs and home fries, my friend ordered the banana pancakes. We were beyond satisfied and so stuffed! Fantastic food and service!

Neighborhood breakfast and lunch place. You order your food, seat yourself and they bring it to you when it’s ready. As I’m sitting here I see lots of locals coming in and the owner knows them by name. I got the egg, cheese and bacon croissant sandwich and hubby got the meat lovers omelet with home fries and toast, with 2 ice coffees, it came out to $ 22. Cash only. Food was good, great people watching. Choice of indoor(with AC) or out door seating. Will definitely come back when in the area.

Very home style dishes. I got the meat lovers omelette and it was delicious. Very friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for just a simple brunch place with great food then this is a place you should try.

Since I asked for an iced coffee and they gave me a hot one, the owner just gave me a glass with ice. Ordered a egg and cheese and that was dry and tasted off.

4.5 stars, but I’m rounding up to 5! At first I was annoyed by having to find an ATM because this place is cash only — but the great food, service, and price made up for it. Two orders of eggs and sausage with pancakes and juices came to about 25 dollars. And the food was GREAT. Cool little local spot with great homemade food.

Came in for breakfast and loved every bit! It was a goal of mine to check out a local restaurant and I was surprised on how amazing this place was.

This place is just the best. Seriously such a gem in the North End! The owner is always so friendly, and the service is amazing and so fast. The club sandwich for lunch is the bomb. Currently feasting on the feta, tomato and spinach omelet and yummy iced coffee for breakfast. the place is very casual. Diner food on paper plates. Cash only. Please go — you won’t be disappointed.

Actually really good iced coffee. The veggies in the omelet were fresh too. It’s kind of like diner food, but the good kind. The service is quick and even though we aren’t from here they were nice to us. Anthony himself takes your order and he seems pretty chill. It’s a place where people know each other. I wish they recycled though, because they use all paper and plastic products.

The pink house was very cute! It caught my eye immediately and since there was a very long line in other places, my friends and I decided to have our brunch here. The food was actually very good and comparably way cheaper than a fancy brunch restaurant.(Like less than $ 10). Next time if you couldn’t find a table at any Brunch places, just come to Anthony’s! This place is cozy and the vibe is great:-)

I love everything about Anthony’s! Great food(and fast) with a neighborhood feel. It only took me coming in a few times for them to remember my name(thoughtful) and their grilled breakfast sandwiches are the cure to what ails after a late night out indulging/imbibing. Like Joe, I work nearby and have never been disappointed by anything. Just know they only take cash!

I ordered the egg and sausage fried egg on a English muffin and DJ had 2 fried eggs. We both ordered sides of the Italian bread toast. Together with one bottle of H2O we shared it was only $ 12. A good deal. All was very good but the Italian bread was from a store, not the real deal loaf I expected.

This place is incredible. I am fortunate to work in the building atop of Anthony’s, and every day I thank whoever chose this location. Small, family run operation with incredible service, and no BS at all. Owner works the counter, sandwiches are always made to order. Breakfast sandwiches have cured even the nastiest of hangovers… omelets are as big as my massive dome. I’ve tried about 25% of the menu in the few months I’ve worked upstairs, but I’m looking forward to giving it all a whirl at some point or another. Cash only might be my only complaint, but I’m willing to even let that slide. Definitely don’t miss this place if you’re in the area.
