A Boston Answering Service

I was under the impression that this was «Boston Cab Service», but a quick google search shows that they are simply a glorified answering service.
We called at 1:15am for a cab to bring a friend from Jamaica Plain to Allston after a fun Friday night out. I do this drive often and it takes maybe 15 minutes, tops.
We wait 20 minutes, 30 minutes… no cab, no call, no nothing… I called them again at 1:45am and they said a cab would come ‘as soon as possible’.
2:15am, one hour after I initially called, we decided to drive our friend home ourselves after an hour wait. Seriously, such an inconvenience.
Called them back at 2:40am (after we got home) and spoke to a man who insisted that a cab would come «right away»; I told him to forget it since it had now been literally 90 minutes and no cab had arrived. A 3am cab ride for a 1am call seemed a little, i don’t know, unprofessional.
forget them if you have any interest in keeping any sort of schedule in your life. Would give 0 stars if possible. Stay awayyyy.
I hope their unborn babies grow gills.
