Six decades of sunlight has turned the photos on the walls to yellowed ghosts.

Cool, nostalgic spot. I had the ribs and thought they were nothing to write home about. Cole slaw and baked beans were just standard stuff. It’s reasonably priced and cool for the location and history, but the food left me underwhelmed.

This place is a must stop if you are in the Shreveport/Bossier area! The food is amazing, the barbecue sauce is delicious and the owner is the sweetest woman you will ever meet. If you don’t stop at Cobb’s you are definitely missing out.

very old school up in here. great pictures and information about B52 bombers and beyond. some great characters hanging out, and more. wonderful straight up old school bbq sandwiches. crusty bread filled with brisket, and then oozing with bbq sauce, and pickles and beyond. nice and filling, and simple. not too much, just the right amount. I may be back later today.

This lil’ BBQ joint, best known as Cobb’s, has been open in the same location off of Old Minden Road in downtown Bossier City, since 1952! This place put the hole in the term hole-in-the-wall! In a very good way! This family business is an institution! I LOVE Cobb’s, and have been a loyal customer for over a decade! I love, LOVE the Super Sue po boy sandwich! I LOVE it! It’s two meats(your choice: beef, ham, turkey, hot link) I ALWAYS get the Super Sue with beef and hot links, and it’s smashed up with delicious cole slaw and served all together on delicious french bread and wrapped in tin foil! It is all I have ever had from Cobb’s! It is all I will ever order! It is one of the best sandwiches in all of this area! I have brought countless other people with me to this establishment and they have ordered other items, meat plates and what not, and they enjoyed them all, I am just fixated on that sandwich! Cobb’s has been open almost 60 years! Please stop by and visit! You will love the atmosphere(think Herby K’s…but in Bossier… and with BBQ!) It’s just a wonderful, old, original, local place and there’s only one of them, just this one, and when it’s gone it’s gone forever! They don’t make places like this anymore! They are open from 10am to 7 pm, Monday through Saturday, but please call ahead to check their hours, they are also cash only, so don’t plan on using your debit/credit card, and it should go without saying, they have no website… just some of the best bbq in these parts is all.
