Called Dave to fix my Samsung 52″ LED and he arrived within an hour… on a Saturday, no less. We found Dave to be very personable and he fixed the problem and a couple more in 45 minutes… all for the quoted price. We definitely know who our go-to guy is for all our electronic repairs.

One day my 15 year old VCR got a tape hopelessly stuck inside.(I do not want to pay the cable co. any more money than I already do, so I still have the ol’, seriously outdated VCR to tape my shows.) I had zero idea who to call about fixing my predicament so I went to Google. Unfortunately there were very few options on the west side… I did happen to notice Rainbow TV/Electronics in Hillsboro as they specifically mentioned«VCR» repair. Whoo hoo! I called this place and the owner, Dave, answered. He was very pleasant and helpful. I described what the problem was and he said that was no problem and quoted me a reasonable price. He did say he used to have a shop downtown Hillsboro but now works out of his home. Luckily I google mapped it and it looked at the photos of the streets you take to get there as it would have been a little hard to find without doing that. HIs place is a very nice duplex with tons of parking.(more about that later in my review) My daughter and I went and he immediately put us at ease. Dave is very personable and professional. He took us to his«shop» where he does all his repairs of TV’s, etc. He quickly solved my problem and I paid his earlier quoted price. He handed me his business card and told him I would gladly refer my friends to him. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again for any electronics I need repaired in the future. P. S.(warning about his neighbor) Upon walking out to our car, we did have the unfortunate run-in with his VERY crabby neighbor lady. She berated me for the way I parked. I told her I had never been there before and since it’s a sea of concrete I had no way of knowing the EXACT place I should park. I was told in no uncertain terms to park nose first in front of his garage.(just a warning for others!!!)
