Boring Bark & Landscape Materials

This place is in a very convenient location if you’re in the Damascus, Boring, or Sandy area. Their prices are fair, unless you’re wanting to purchase your order together and take some of it with you and have the rest delivered. When I asked to this, what appeared to be a manager, came up and acted as if I had insulted her family. The price immediately sky rocketed and she grew more and more impatient as I asked questions about my order. I ended up taking a yard with me and five yards delivered. It was very difficult to get the info out of them, not to mention my order was very expensive. Needless to say I likely won’t be returning. I’ve done business with Mt Scott Fuel and they were amazing! They even donate to non-​profits! Customer service is huge and this place seemed to be inconvenienced by the concept.

This place is kick a$$!!!, their fuel is always stocked they have the largest selection in town there customer service exceeds expectations, they let you barrow a trailer if you need (for free) just supply them with a deposit as insurance. I like how they post their prices online too I think that’s professional, great place!

This place rocks! They have great customer service, friendly people to help you find anything you are looking for and a wide selection of plants. Well worth the short drive from Portland

Great place to get a Christmas tree, fresh cut nice trees at a very reasonable price. The help is friendly they cut off beaches and tie trees down for you. Highly recommend them.

Boring Bark offers high quality for affordable prices. Their landscapers came to weed and spread bark dust. They were fast, affordable and did an amazing job. We have gotten loads of bark dust delivered before also and they have always provided amazing customer service!

Beautiful fresh cut Christmas trees!
December I redeemed a Groupon ($ 20 for a half pound of fresh roasted coffee & up to a 10′ Christmas tree).
We arrived as a group of guys unloaded a truck filled with Noble Firs newly cut from Boring Barks tree farm. As they set each tree down from the truck, shook out the needles and did some pruning to groom each tree to perfection-​I knew we were in for a great day! We met friends & family (all with Groupons in hand) and selected three trees (one for our parents, another to be auctioned for a Festival of Trees event, and the last for ourselves).
Their worst tree was better than the best trees at other lots! Fresh, full and beautifully shaped. They guys let us gather up the excess branches off the ground
(gratis) greens for wreaths, center pieces & garland.
Inside we choose our bags of coffee to take home and warmed up with sample cups of a few varieties of the coffee roasted on site.
Service was welcoming, helpful & friendly– I will certainly be back!
Oh, in case your wondering why it took so long to submit my review… we just took our tree down before Valentines Day! What can I say… it really was a fresh tree-​and gorgeous enough to enjoy for 2 months-don’t judge me.

Our favorite place for landscaping supplies and fresh roasted coffee (to give you energy to do all that yard work!).

We’ve gotten tons of compost and 4-​way from Boring Bark and we have never had any issues with quality. It’s never been weedy and is also helped our yard tremendously.
We’ve even had truck loads delivered and have found that their pricing on delivery is reasonable too.
Their plants are a bit spendy to me, but I would totally recommend them for soil and rock products.

Boring Bark is A-​1 awesome. They have a great selection of really reasonably priced landscape materials. We go there specifically for the hazelnut shell mulch. They also have a really excellent selection of perennial plants with bargain pricing.
Bonus! You can pick up some freshly roasted, small batch coffee beans while you’re there.
