Peter Dombrowski provides a wonderful shop filled with his one of a kind creations. His silversmithing creates jewelry that even 5^th Ave. stores in NYC could not provide or even offer for sale. His leatherwork is masterful and done tastefully with something for everyone.
But I especially appreciated the time his took with us as my wife went through and built a silver charm bracelet with her Maine memories. Not only did he wait for her to decide between items, he was quick to point out unique differences and provide details as to why she might like one charm over another of the same type. Some shop owners might have walked away in frustration when she was trying to decide which scallop shell charm to select, but he merely showed her more and helped her see what went best with the other charms she was selecting. Even at the end, as he was adding the charms one by one to the bracelet and she last minute decided she wanted a map of the State of Maine added, he merely grabbed another loop and put it on.
So, if you are in the market for leather, silver, or gold, whether for yourself or a gift for someone else, I highly recommended visiting Peter at his shop where I know that not only will you get the best value, you will get the best treatment.
