First National Bank of Damariscotta

What a breath of fresh air!
Having banked with wells Fargo for three years in DC I was so ready for a small bank like this.
When I went in to the bank to open my account I couldn’t have had better timing. They were having a customer appreciation party with prizes and goodies galore. There were cupcakes with cider, popcorn and chili, cornbread and sweets it was fabulous.
It took no time at all for me to open the account and get my free wind chime (that was made in Maine of course). Now I use the drive through bank teller more often than not as my pup LOVES getting a treat. Without fail, when I pull into the bank parking lot his tail starts wagging like crazy.
I was given referral slips and you can bet I used them. I wouldn’t stop talking about the bank for about a month. A definite favorite at parties. ;-)
