I love Wasabi! It’s the cutest little sushi place and Boonton’s hidden gem. The food is delicious, good prices and amazing customer service. I’ve never been disappointed with this place. My only compliment would be the chicken teriyaki(very bland) and there is barley any parking. They have a great lunch special too! 2 rolls for $ 8 and 3 for $ 10. If you’re in town, definitely check it out!

I went on a slow night. Staff was very quick and friendly. For apps I ordered Godzilla roll and King Crab Crunch — both were excellent. I ordered Nabeyaki Udon for my entrée. It was loaded and came as a huge portion as noodle soup typically does. Everything was great. This restaurant has many other options. I feel like the serve the best of Asian food — not Chinese — the white people like.

really not a good sushi place and I have tried them a couple of times. they skimp on the amount of fish you get in your rolls… do yourself a favor and go to Fu Sha Sushi on 202 in Parsippany. outstanding !!!

Excellent sushi and rolls. I suggest ordering before 3pm for lunch prices. Dinner is the same portion but double the price. BYOB and great little restaurant. My favorite sushi place in town. Fresh, tasty and clean atmosphere.

Been here a few times now. Excellent sushi & very pleasant space. Loved their crispy calamari salad which is lightly fried calamari over green salad w citrus vinaigrette as well as traditional sushi & special rolls.

Living within walking distance, Wasabi Bistro is our go to Japanese restaurant. The food is good quality and fairly authentic, the prices are reasonable(plus look out for deals in the local paper) and the place is clean. Atmosphere doesn’t shout Japanese but it’s pleasant enough. We’ve been for lunch and for evening meals and the service is always friendly but can be a little slow when it’s busy in the evening(they often have larger groups and seem busy with takeout orders). It’s BYOB so we don’t mind relaxing with a wine if our order is taking a little longer than usual. There’s an excellent liquor store just a bit further up Myrte Ave if you come unprepared.

Ordered sushi for 2 for only $ 38 bux. There were a few varieties of sushi plus a godzilla roll. The fish had virtually no flavor whatsoever. Very disappointed.

Ate at the establishment and sushi was so Yum and fresh. It’s BYOB so that is even more awesomer! :) Liquor store right down the road. Sushi was presented in a beautiful and artistic way, which was unexpected. Also had takeout(salmon teriyaki) and that was fantastical as well. Salmon was this really flavorful and had a hard tasty almost burnt crust but the inside lovely, fresh and tender. So much texture and flavor experienced in one bite! Definitely a must eat any which way you can.

Service took awhile here however it was well worth the wait. The food is great! I tried several rolls and the jalapeño yellowtail appetizer. The fried cheesecake was a guilty treat. I’ll definitely be back.

Ling helped me put together a birthday dinner for my husband. She was really helpful and made things go very smoothly. We were kind of high maintenance too, five separate checks and a half an hour late. The sushi was fresh like it should be and their Sushi boat was a good decision, very well put together and exciting when it came out. They even gave us a surprise bday treat. This is a local business that is well worth the time and very reasonable in price. Would love to do another party here.

LOVE this place! The sushi is always excellent. The staff is always pleasant. The vibe is always relaxed and enjoyable. It’s bring your own which is a bonus. We had decided to try a new sushi spot in the area and were comparing it to Wasabi Bistro the entire meal. We won’t go anywhere else for sushi again! Love you Wasabi Bistro!

We must have ordered from an odd day, because the food was terrible. The sushi had no flavor, and our to-go didn’t even come with wasabi, soy sauce, ginger or chop sticks. We won’t be ordering again.

There are a number of sushi places in the nearby area, but this is the only one that i truly like. I have eaten here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the French Dragon which i almost always get and then share another roll of some sort with my daughters or husband. It is a very small place so it is good to go early as it can fill up and then service which is normally very fast, can get bogged down. After all the rolls are made to order, and that takes time. It is BYOB place, but I love green tea so that is of no consequence to me. Those I have dined with agree that they really like the sushi here.

Whoo hoo! I love this place! Fresh, delicious sushi, attentive, friendly service, and(my favorite) it’s BYOB! My friend and I always meet here for sushi since it’s halfway btwn Whippany and Lincoln Park. It’s the perfect halfway point for us! Great presentation with the sushi, delicious warm appetizers, though their Salmon Tartar is lacking. I will continue to have Wasabi Bistro on my list of regular haunts. I make crafts with wine corks, and one of the waitresses always saves them for me and has a handful everytime I come, which isso sweet of her to remember!

I’d give wasabi a solid 4 stars, the restaurant prior to wasabi was run down and I don’t think anyone would have ever eaten there. However the new management cleaned it up and made it a nice establishment. The biggest downside is probably the parking lot. As for the food and service I thought everything was excellent. We had edamame and a spicy egg drop soup which I’ve never had, my wife even liked it and she’s not a fan of egg drop soup. Then we shared four sushi rolls and this was the first time my wife had raw dish in over a year and she wasn’t disappointed. Looking forward to our next sushi night.

It’s tough to find a good sushi place, but this one is amazing. Go there at least once a week and we are never disappointed.

Really liked this place! PROS: Great food(dinner and desserts) Great, friendly service Reasonable Prices Very clean Cons: Very awkward parking lot(wouldn’t go when it’s packed) The seating was pretty snug — tables all right next to each other(again, wouldn’t go when it’s packed) Overall, great experience!

Freshest Chirashi I have ever had around the area! It might come smaller portion than other places, but it comes with qualities.

First the positive, the place is clean and nicely decorated. The food is good. We’re a very easy going family and always look forward to a relaxing Friday night dinner, I never deliver negative feedback and ALWAYS give the benefit if the doubt. However, the service at Wasabi was, by far, the worst service we’ve experienced in years! It seemed to take forever for our order(s) to be taken. Courses and drinks took a very long while to arrive. We heard ‘sorry’ at least a ½ dozen times. The quickest service we received was our credit card being processed. We should have ordered take out pizza. We will certainly NEVER go back!
