New China Buffet

This is my go to place for Chinese food. I’ve never tried their buffet, and I stick to ordering a few standard things from their menu. My favorite is the mei fun noodles. It’s rice noodles with meat and veggies. I also love their Mongolian beef, schzewan chicken and fried rice. No frills service and they usually have pick up items ready in 10 minutes.

I consider myself an expert of chinese buffets and I must say that new china buffet is more than deserving of its three michelin stars. The atmosphere– awe inspiring. The wait staff– professional. But the food was quite possibly the crowning achievement of this century, no, this dynasty. New China Buffet, in short, I add the absolute greatest restaurant in America.

If you just look around the outside of the building and noticed the peeling paint the awnings are torn no one ever weed eat or picks up trash around the restaurant and they put so much msg in their food and the next time I need a laxative I think I will go to the drugstore and not the New Chinese buffet

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a buffet.
Being a college student, I’ve been to a plethora of terrible buffets in my lifetime. Its easy to eat a 5 dollar plate of high cholesterol, msg coated, glutenous garbage in between classes.
Nothing could have prepared me for New China Buffet though.
We walk in and there is 0 atmosphere, no music, bad lighting, cheesy decorations.
That’s all good, I mean its a buffet, like there’s not much you can expect.
We then dashed off to the bar and pile our plates with everything we could grab, but nothing was labeled.
Most of my food was sour and tasted like it had been made when the buffet first opened, even the ice cream was freezer burnt.
The kicker though, the best moment of the night, was when I walked up to the dessert bar and saw an item that I couldn’t identify, it was just a weird looking food.
So I asked a cook that came out of the kitchen what it was
And he DIDN’T KNOW
This man that worked back of house had no clue what was sitting on their own buffet
So hands down the most expensive, horrible, disgusting buffet I have ever been to.

Must have been a slow day. The food in the buffet was not as hot as I like. I guess they do that to keep the food from drying out. It was also bland, maybe catering to local tastes but I had to add a lot of hot sauce to make it taste better.
The price was quite reasonable and a good value.

Great food. Sure it looks and seems a little sketchy, but the food is worth it. Their sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, and fried rice is all good, plus the prices aren’t too bad.

A very standard Chinese buffet. It has the yellow «fried rice» with peas and carrots, mediocre lo mein, bland chicken and broccoli, and peppery spring rolls you’ve come to expect with these kind of restaurants. It does have sushi, though, which is nice. The service is somewhat sub-​par (stopping by once every 10 minutes to fill up your drinks and then disappearing), but at least they give a slight discount to ASU students. I saw their sanitation score, a 90, and that was kind of gross. I rarely come here any more because there are so many better places to eat in town.

New China Buffet provided an excellent and enjoyable dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant was nothing short of quality, and the professionalism of the waitstaff was top notch.
From the food standpoint, New China Buffet delivered on many levels. The artistic presentation of the cheese mussel as well as the inventive nature of the chicken stuffed shrimp were both beyond expectation. Above all, the coconut chicken exceeded the level of perfection and entered the realm of the sublime. I could not have been more satisfied with this dish.
Overall, I found New China Buffet to be a delightful experience, and one that I would certainly recommend to my colleagues and friends. While it could not possibly live up to the hype of Great Wall in historic Norway, ME, New China Buffet is a quality eating establishment that you should not hesitate to visit. Boone truly understands the art of the Chinese buffet.

This was typical Chinese food in my opinion. Friday and Sat buffet includes seafood options. Wait staff was very nice and attentive.
