On 1⁄30 my husband and I wanted ice cream and we hadn’t been to subzero by our house in awhile. When did it close? Are they going to reopen? If it was open I would be giving it 5 stars but being closed and not a single note on the doors. I found out on here it closed.

My guy and I decided we would try sub zero this evening, and we both think it’s overrated. I ordered mass mocha madness, with chocolate flakes & graham crackers. He ordered chocolate with marshmallows & almonds(he’s a die hard rocky road man). They tasted nearly identical. Mine had ZERO coffee flavor. Neither of them were chocolatey. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but it wasn’t anything special. As for the atmosphere, which you would expect it to be kind of fun & interesting due to the nature of the way your dessert is made in front of you with liquid nitrogen, it was… meh. The only reason the employees spoke to us was to take our order and when we engaged them in conversation. We both agree that the ice cream itself was just«okay,» therefore WAY overpriced. All in all, I would have to say that Sub Zero is sub par. Will we go back? Doubtful.

Taste bud explosion. We had the #8 tropical Turbine watching this come together and freeze using the liquid nitrogen was a «blast». We will definitely be back soon. Great date day treat

This is awesome ice cream, but unless you like freezer burn, do not get the most cold version as it really is terrible! The choices of many types of ways to have it are available, and the use of excellent machines to make the ice cream cold are also fascinating, but it is overpriced and their credit and debit machine barely works, so bring cash along!
