Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bonifay

Wonderful place to stay! We didn’t have a reservation and were driving to see how far we could get without stopping. We made it here and glad we did. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary continental breakfast had a wonderful selection. Our room was very clean and the linens were comfortable. We have saved the information for future travels! Most definitely will stay here again. Great reviews, as well. The pool is super clean, which is impressive. It’s not even warm enough to swim and they stay on top of keeping it clean!

If you have to travel to middle of the panhandle of Florida and spend a night not in the big cities (Pensacola or Tallahassee) along I-​10, this hotel may be your best choice. There is not a comfortable hotel or motel out there.
This hotel located in Bonifay and just off the I-​10 interstate highway. It has three stories with inside hallway. It has decent room with free wifi. The breakfast is included. They have small business center if you need to print somethings. They have the less than 20 seat conference room if you need to hold a meeting there.
The hotel is clean. More importantly, they have good air filter. They also have onsite fitness center and outdoor pool if you want you want to keep up your vibe. Parking is free. House keeping is not under staff.

Driving from Houston TX to Ponte Vedra Fl we HAD to stop and get some rest as we have little ones. We pulled off to get gas, saw there was a Holiday Inn in town. I called to get pricing and was told $ 139… They then told me they only had 4 channels on the TV’s (TV’s are being worked on/​cable) and I jokingly replied «Do I get a discount» the desk attendant, Zoe, said, sure! *Two compliments for Zoe: She told us up front about the lack of channels and she was apologetic about it, that means a lot, even though it was not her fault/​out of her control!* Checked in super fast, SUPER clean room, updated décor, refrigerator in room, nice big soft/​comfy beds, nice size bathroom, awesome T.V. They have coffee 24 hours downstairs and from what I have heard a great breakfast buffet in the a.m. VERY PLEASED. Holiday Inn has always been a superior hotel chain and I am happy to say they remain SUPERIOR. *To add, the people at Burger King (Located in front of the hotel) were super polite! And in closing: Zoe just made fresh hot chocolate chip cookies! «It’s the little things…»

I don’t really know if there are any Holiday Inn Express hotels that are 5 stars if you’re considering luxury and a hotel full of amenities but as Holiday Inn properties go this is definitely a very well maintained and managed one.
The exterior is well manicured and the inside is as clean as any Holiday Inn I’ve stayed in. Being a platinum member I was greeted and offered points or their welcoming bag of treats and upgraded to a suite. The room was fairly large and well furnished with a very comfortable king size bed the thermostat worked and the bathroom was immaculate.
The staff here was very polite and attentive and made sure everything was right. Breakfast was the standard fare starting at 6:30 AM and the coffee was actually really good the fresh fruit was fresh and blemish free for a change. Check in and Check out was a breeze. The standard room charge was $ 119.00 plus tax but the upgrade was a perk for being a rewards club member. If your looking for a place to lay your head traveling on I-​10 this is a solid choice priced reasonable.

VERY impressed with this location. ALL staff were great, helpful and on top of everything! Hotel is spotless as was the room and common areas. FREE Wi-​Fi, FREE breakfast and FREE newspaper in the a.m. If I’m ever in the area again, this will be my go to hotel location. (SEE PICS)

Staff is wonderful… rooms very clean and roomy… breakfast free before we got back on the road… very easy off and on interstate… went to Mustang Grill after we checked in… hotel great… restaurant great…

Stayed here for 3 days while doing some nearby attractions. Very upscale hotel in a tiny town. Free breakfast had a lot of choices. Rooms were clean and comfy. Good options for dining close by. Staff was friendly, knowledgable, and did everything they could to make your stay a good one!

Thanks to the recommendations I read last night I checked it out & Wow! I travel for my job & I rolled into this hotel late & didn’t know what to expect. FABULOUS! Front desk receptionist was extremely kind & friendly @ almost 1AM & again @ 9:30 AM the next morning (she was asked to work a double)! Very clean & the best nights sleep I’ve had all week! Beds/​pillows are heavenly! I’ll be back!

The hotel is nice, and people on site are pleasant. The problem is that being a franchise there is no control. For example, despite a flat screen TV there is virtually no TV service. As long as you want shopping channels, and a hispanic channel you are okay but standard television serice simply is not available or is not working. The manager is not on site so you get lots of apologies but nothing can be done. Remarkable in this day and age in the US, channels like CNN, ABC, NBC etc, simply not available. Travellor beware. Nice people, inferior services, Holiday Inn has once again lost control of its franchises like years ago.

For an off the highway hotel that we stopped at unexpectedly it was perfect! Clean, comfy, full complimentary breakfast, friendly staff, nice décor, pool, business office, workout room. $ 83 including tax with military discount.

This place was fantastic. I arrived during a horrible trip when I couldn’t drive another minute. App said they were booked, but clerk found one last room. Stumbled in and he offered me warm cookies. They had an elevator and carts to carry things up. Nice, big covered parking out front, posh lobby, laundry downstairs, luxurious rooms, amazing shower, smoker friendly. My only complaint is the room smelled strongly of powdered carpet cleaner, which caused an asthma attack, but I would stay here again. One of the best hotels I’ve ever encountered, and awesome staff.

We love this place. We’ve spent 5 weekends here, while visiting our son. This hotel is clean and pretty new, the beds and linens are comfortable, the breakfasts have nice options. My husband uses the gym. We connect with the Internet easily to watch Kindle Fire. The staff is extremely helpful, and the evening chocolate chip cookies are dangerously dynamite! It’s right off I-​10, so stop here if you need a night’s sleep in the area.
