My husband and I just spent an entire week at this gorgeous resort. We were there on our honey moon. The view was breath taking. Everyone was so kind to us. We had fun taking the boats out, swimming and fishing. It is located close Bolton landing where there’s lots of fun places to go and places to eat. We will definitely go back to melody manor!

I went to Melody Manor about a month ago for a long weekend. While the property was gorgeous with a fantastic view of the lake, the room was just okay. The room had a very strong bleach smell and it made me nauseous each night that I was there. The owner was not very friendly and upon arrival, he told me that he did not have a reservation for me. I was angry as this was not a great start to my get-a-way. Needless to say, I will NEVER stay at Melody Manor again.

I went to Lake George recently and had the pleasure of staying at Melody Manor. This place was lovely and very serene. The property had a fantastic view of the mountains and the lake and the property and rooms were very well kept. They had a pool, a tennis court, a large playground for the kids and a basketball court so there was plenty of things to do. My favorite part of the resort was the restaurant, Villanapoli. The food was fantastic, the service was great and the owner Rose was delightful. Melody Manor is also located right between the town of Lake George and Bolton Landing so it was a short ride into the town. I am planning on returning next summer!

I just got back from 2 nights at Melody Manor, and my only complaint is, I couldn’t stay longer! Melody Manor is set on a beatiful, scenic oasis with breathe taking views. The set up is so cute, with sections of rooms wrapped around the Lake. You can take in some afternoon sun overlooking the lake and the dock and the boats that are right there. Now the really important stuff: the food. Villa Napoli is on par with the food I ate in Italy. Dinner was delicious, breakfast was delicious, the staff members are all so kind and wonderful. The owners of this delightful place are the Alessi’s, and they are beyond fabulous. They are so hands on, and really set the pace for what will be a lovely, relaxing get-away. I would reccommend Melody Manor to anyone looking to unwind and have a great weekend. I cannot wait to return!

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights at this gorgeous resort just south of Bolton Landing on the eastern shore of Lake George. Tucked in the corner of beautiful Huddle Bay, this resort offers a wonderful view, convenient location, a fantastic restaurant(the best pappardelle bolognese this side of Italy), and a clean and friendly environment. Our room was clean, comfortable, and I don’t think any room is more than 200 steps to the water edge. Villa Napoli: Conveniently located on the property, we thought at most enjoy this place for one or two meals. Well… we ended up eating every breakfast and dinner here.(They are closed between 11−4p when we just snacked for lunch anyway). Excellent breakfast menu with lots of options. Dinner was better than any Italian restaurant we have dined at in NYC and beyond. The property was clean and well manicured. Perched on a cliff over looking the lake, it provides an excellent view. With the lake and access to a boat docked in one of the 3 private slips, we didn’t spend much time by the pool, tennis court, basketball slab, shuffle board or ping pong table(although it was tempting). Hope this was helpful. We cannot wait to begin an annual tradition when we return next summer!

Nearly 30 years after I visited the Lake George area with my family, we returned to Melody Manor. The motel wasn’t brand-new, but it was clean and comfortable, with a small beach and boats. Our group also enjoyed playing ping pong, basketball, volleyball, and shuffleboard by the swimming pool. Villa Napoli, the Italian restaurant on Melody Manor’s grounds, was family-friendly. The service and food were good for both breakfast and dinner. Other than the occasional noisy guests, Melody Manor is a great place to relax and enjoy nature lakeside.

I’ve been to Lake George 3 times now and have stayed at Melody Manor every single time. I can’t see myself ever wanting to stay anywhere else. The location, service, and accommodations were all unbeatable. The room I stayed in was a 4 person, 2 queen size bed room. It was very clean and spacious. Not to mention, they have the BEST Italian restaurant in all of New York. I look forward to my yearly visits just to go to Vila Napoli and have their amazing lasagna or bacon wrapped filet mignon. I have also gotten to know the owners personally. The Alessi’s are the most likable and easy going people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I know that they will personally attend to any question or concern you have. If I hear anyone I know visiting Lake George I always strongly recommend staying at the Melody Manor. They are lakeside and also have a pool. The property and the view are so serene and beautiful. Bolton Landing is also only 10 minutes away from Lake George Village if you want to explore the raging night time scene over there :)

A short drive out of the chaos and kitsch that is Lake George Village and you come across a cute little Motel with a gorgeous view of the lake — perfect for a relaxing weekend. We stayed here for a wedding and it was overall a very good stay. Staff was friendly when we saw them(bartender at bar, waitstaff at restaurant, owner when we checked in). What is odd: To reserve a room I had to MAIL A CHECKFORTHEDEPOSIT(but you can pay the rest of the balance when you arrive by CC). UM it’s 2009 you need to fix that. who has checks anymore? Gotta find a way to take CC over the phone. Seems odd that you have to prepay for the whole stay in order to check in(most places charge you on the way out). Got an actual key — I haven’t had a key at any place I’ve stayed at in a decade(used to those credit card looking key passes)! What was ok: Rooms — they were fine — nothing all that special. Bathrooms had been recently renovated(looks like wallpaper over old paint since I could see where the wallpaper ended and some other look was sticking out underneath) but overall clean. Power in bathroom kept going out — not sure if it was a blown fuze or what, but lost the lights and outlet over the sink in bathroom daily until maid reset it each morning. Shower frequently did not have enough hot water(boyfriend thought so and so did some of the other wedding guests). What was awesome: the view! every single room faces the lake and has a deck overlooking the lake. They have a lot of land right around the lake with chairs set up for people to hang out. Quiet and relaxing location.
