Back again after 3 ½ years! This place is all about ambiance and setting. One must overlook the rather average food and just enjoy being in such a historic building, built by Baron Collier, no less. My wife & I each had a grouper sandwich and it was merely okay. The accompanying home-made potato chips were lousy. This is the only place to eat on Useppa Island, so just overlook the food and enjoy being there. Location — 5STARS Ambiance — 5STARS Service — 5STARS Food — 3STARS

I went to the resaurant while on a day cruise to the Island. Of course I expect to pay more for my food when visiting an Island as I am aware that it costs more money for them to get their suppiles. I would say the average lunch meal would run you around $ 15.00 and for what we received it was worth the price. I had the fish sandwich with out the bread and I am glad I choose to not have the bread. The portion was large and the fish was fresh. I had a cocktail and that boosted my check another $ 10.00 My neighbors daughter in law went with me and she had some seafood dish as well though I cant remeber what it was. She had a piña colada and was not impressed with her drink. Our food bill for lunch including a total of 2 drinks, tip and tax was $ 63.56 Well worth a boat trip to enjoy a meal and the views. The staff was pleasant although they were a bit disorganized. We were seated first and waited on after 3 other tables were taken care of. It took quite a while for our cocktails to come out of the bar area.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Always a part of my visits to Useppa, the Collier Inn is THE place to have dinner. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is always excellent, and the view is amazing. I wasn’t feeling terribly well during one visit and they were more than happy to fix a dish that I felt would settle better in my stomach. I love the Collier Inn, and I plan to return for years to come.
