Walgreens

This walgreens is hard to get into. If you’re going up Orchard towards the freeway it’s nearly impossible. You have to turn left the light on the Overland and then left into the Key Bank parking lot which can be tricky with traffic. Because the entrance to the pharmacy’s drive-​up window is so close to Key Banks drive up window, signs says don’t enter and then next to it that one it says drive-​thru! New drivers can be especially confused. Other than the location this is an average Walgreens nothing special about it

I always have a good experience when coming to this location. I don’t shop at Walgreen’s often so when I do I usually have to ask for help finding something. I seem to always go in there when a particular employee is working, Serenity is what her name tag said I believe, and she is just the most helpful person. She always stops what she’s working on to take me right to the product I asked about and even gives me several different options to consider if they are available. I stopped in last night to pick up some soda and an online order from the photo department and I wasn’t disappointed. She helped me locate their packs of soda and assisted in getting the photo order.
The photo order itself was for a collage of photos I had designed and uploaded to have printed on a wood panel 8 X 10. It turned out even better than expected, extremely high quality on the photos even though the photo resolution wasn’t that great to begin with, and with the coupon I found online it was only $ 12. Plus, I placed the order at about 4 pm and it was ready to go when I arrived at 8 pm the same day. Well worth the money and I will be using that service again in the future.
So, overall this is a great location. Very clean, well stocked, hasn’t been super busy any time I’ve been in there, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work!

Walgreens is a wonderland… nirvana in a 22,000sf box.
Every aisle packed with wonder and enchantment. From chocolate bunnies at Easter to jovial Santas at Christmas. Here you can buy a Stouffer’s frozen dinner and colostomy supplies in one fell swoop.
Power drink and sleep aids? Yes, and what a delightful way to have a playful tug or war moment with your body if you ingest both simultaneously! Bunyan cures, wart removers adult and infant diapers .such ironical delights.
$ 1.00 box candy is always intriguing. I load up on sugar and make sure to back it up with diabetes test strips. Walgreens is always clean, pure and corner located. I love the red W. (But you’d think it would be green… more irony)

This is about the PHARMACY at this location.
This is ‘our’ Walgreens. The one we have all our prescriptions called into, and because both my husband and I are on medication we are well known to the staff. The folks in the pharmacy are nice and know their stuff. They have helped me through a couple of different issues regarding hard to acquire medications.
My single solitary complaint is that they can’t seem to figure out how to staff appropriately for the busy times: IE after work on weekedays when people are in a hurry to get home and have prescriptions to pick up and drop off.
Now of course there is no accounting for rude thoughtless customers who can’t show any patience or who show up unprepared. But I really wish they’d hire a couple more part timers beteween the hours of 5−7pm.
Given them the power to smite idiots who show up with expired insurance or no ID who think they will get their prescriptions if they whine or scream enough too. that would make my millenuim!
