I went in to the Uhaul office in person, in order to purchace a TurnATap. That’s a tail light bulb that allow wiring to be added to a vehicle without voiding the vehicle warentee by splicing wires. They are about $ 3.50 per pair. A really handy option for a temporary connection. The men behind the counter all agreed that the device is no longer made and not available. WRONG– Uhaul sels them on their web site with a 2 day delivery. I suspect the store does not cary them so they can sell a much more expensive option. I’ll go elsewhere from here on.

On March 3, 2016 at approximately 10:30am I returned a 5×8 trailer to this uhaul location at 8151 W. Chinden Blvd, Boise, ID. As I was waiting in line the owner Sean B, skipped me and checked in the person behind me. I patiently waited and then when he was done I approached Sean and asked him if it is usual to skip customers waiting in line. He replied by saying«usually customers don’t disconnect the equipment so I can check the lights before I check it in.» Now keep in mind I paid the $ 48 dollars for the whole damage waiver and there was zero damage to the trailer. I am sure the $ 48 dollars alone could cover any blown light bulbs if there were any. Bottom line is he didn’t apologize for his mistake or poor business practice but instead he tried deflecting the issue on to me. I removed the trailer from my vehicle for the sake of time and kindness to the workers. I did not expect to be attacked for my initiative. Funny thing is at the end of the arguement he picked up the tongue of the trailer placed it on the ball of a uhaul truck two steps away and tested the lights. He was unprofessional and arguementative for no reason. Not to mention the customer is always right. I will be leaving reviews on all the review websites I can find about this incident. He does not deserve to be in business with how he treats his customers. And if you scroll to the bottom of the Unilocal review page he is the only five star review. Sean Burnett or burnell. We had a pretty bad experience here. It wasn’t really these guys fault but they didn’t really do much to alleviate the situation. We got a storage unit online that was supposed to fit a 1200 square foot apartment and it was so small not even half of our stuff would fit in it. We were moving from across the country and a company was moving our stuff. We got here a day before the company to check out the unit and we were shocked at how small it was. They didn’t have any more units available so we just had to wait and see what would happen since the company already had their address as the delivery address. After everything was said and done our tv couch and bed were in the unit while everything else was just on the street. Me and my wife had to rent a truck to move it to a different storage unit across town. I talked to the manager(I thought I was reasonable) and asked if there was anything he could do to help. He said he would try, which was ok, but nothing really came of it. I know mistakes happen but I feel like more could have been done. We were charged for a month after using the unit for about a week and a half and had to pay for an extra truck for the move. I tried to explain the situation to the employees but they just kinda gave me this dopey state like«I don’t care why are you talking to me» If you read this whole review I don’t know what purpose it served cause if you just want a truck it will probably be fine, but I just wanted to vent and give my reason for the one star.
