Three Oaks Academy & Integrative Therapy Clinic

I almost hesitate to write this review because when you have your wonderful, secret, inexpensive spots with awesome customer service, you don’t really want to advertise them for fear of waiting three weeks for an appointment. But that’s a chance I’ll take because Three Oaks is really great. I’ve done the student hair thing, the student chiropractic thing, the student nail thing — and none of those experiences add up to this one. Yes, you are getting a massage from a student but I’ve never had a bad experience there. I’ve even had a few instances where the student used techniques I haven’t experienced in professional settings. They are prompt about calling back if you leave a message and it’s super cheap. There are two tiers of massage that I know of — student or staff. With staff it’s about 10.00 more per hour and you can leave a tip on a credit card. With the students you can’t. So make sure you bring a cash tip for students if you usually use a card. At the end of your session part of the deal is that you have to fill out an evaluation of the student and offer insight about how it went and/​or suggestions about how they could do better. You can’t beat this deal. I’ve had better massages here than at other well-​known massage centers around the valley.

Outstanding find!!! Great service and can’t beat the price if you request a student. I believe my masseuse was Liz and she was just great. Very gentle, relaxing and knowledgeable about what she was doing. $ 35/​hr and well worth it. Definitely be back.

Ok, I’m updating my review. After the owner of Three Oaks read my review, she contacted me personally and offered me a sincere apology as well as a «re-​do» massage which she did. She has a very busy schedule and got me in on a Saturday morning. The massage was lovely and much more appropriate than the first one. She also assured me that they had made some changes because of my review. Overall, her willingness to correct what was obviously a poor service ups her cred a lot.
