The Vincent Salon

Oh heck yes! A big thanks to Vincent for squeezing me in for an up-​do last minute while I was in Boise recently to attend a special event.
I was in town and happened to have some free time before attending a themed party. Realizing I was going to be underdressed I tagged along with my friend who was getting her hair done and asked, «Do you think it’d be ok to ask if he has time to do something with my hair real quick?» Sure enough, he was able to do my hair as well and it literally changed my whole night! Getting your hair done is such a treat and I went from feeling insecure about being underdressed to having a gorgeous hairdo to rock all night long.
Vincent’s Salon is in a gorgeous home along State St. At this house you’ll find plenty of room for parking and inside the house Vincent was quick to encourage me to visit his kitchen and grab water or tea or coffee. He was so sweet and welcoming that I felt like I’d known him forever! In fact, if I lived in Boise I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to become a permanent customer. My friend has raved about his services in the past and I’ve personally noticed that she has great hair. So it’s not just styles and up-​dos it’s also cut and color.
When it came time for my turn I hopped in the chair and he whipped up some up-​do magic in just a matter of minutes. Our conversation was fun and lighthearted, his home was clean and gorgeous, and best of all — the cost was extremely affordable. This trip to get my hair done made my whole day.

First things first: I came by this place upon complimenting a friend of mine whose hair looked absolutely incredible – SHE came upon it much the same way by noticing a friend of HERS whose hair looked particularly luscious and questioning who her stylist was. That definitely speaks to the quality results you will receive here. And, I am so glad I thought to ask my friend as Vincent (the name of my stylist in addition to being the name of the salon) is absolutely irreplaceable.
What separates The Vincent from other salons? Vincent provides an attention to detail that is unparalleled. The cut I receive is always impeccably done and the color he uses is of such a quality that it stays fresh and lovely the full eight weeks I go between appointments (and he does a full foil hair color on me so that my hair always looks great whether down or in an up-​do).
Vincent is a formally educated artist in addition to being a hairstylist. What does this mean for you? It means that he has a solid grasp of color and an eye for the aesthetic – he will help you discover the most complimentary cut/​style/​color for you.
Vincent’s eye for the beautiful is evident every time I go, not only with the amazing hair results I receive, but with the overall look of his salon. It is, in a word, gorgeous! Every inch of this salon is beautifully appointed and lends a feel of opulence as you recline in the fully reclining shampoo chairs and have your hair washed and head massaged. Oh my goodness… heaven!

Aside from all of that marvelousness? Vincent has a great personality and he and I pretty much laugh and chat the entire time I’m there. When I leave, it is with spirits uplifted, hair looking fabulous, and confidence soaring (amazing what a little cut and color can do!). And, he’s reasonably priced to boot! Well done!
