I absolutely love Stage Coach Theater. The numerous plays I’ve seen have all been entertaining and fun and the theater on Emerald is a welcome change over their past venues. That said, I have to give it 3 stars based on the horrendous experiences I’ve had with ticket purchases. There is no way to speak to a real person — it’s either email, order from EventBrite online or leave a message. So, when I needed a Flex Pass and found that those and season tickets are not available online, I had to leave countless messages and write a dozen emails to get one. It took over a month and a half to get it and then it had to be delivered to my house by the person in charge of tickets. I realize things happen now and then that just gum up the works but once I had the tickets, I was happy and enjoyed all the plays I saw while using them. But next came a season pass for myself and a friend. We saw a play on Jan 30th and ordered and paid for 4 season tickets at the theater at that time. We were told they’d be mailed out posthaste. Again, after over a month of emails and messages they were finally delivered to my home after I had expressed such frustration that my next step was going to be a refund request and I was going to patronize Boise Little Theater instead. If they ever get their act together so that people can actually purchase tickets easily I’ll gladly change this review to a 5 star.

An amazing little theatre hidden in boise. Went for opening night of the show«baggage» and I was truly impressed. Venue is small and in a weird area on emerald. The parking isn’t great but it’s free. From the outside the theatre doesn’t look like much but the inside is well maintained and very comfortable. The staff and performers were truly top notch and there is a full bar with great prices. The show was comparible to much bigger playhouses located in bigger cities like L.A. The prices are low but the experience is unfotgettable. My husband and I will be back and will support this small theatre. It is a non profit and we are truly lucky to have this wonderful place in boise.

Let me say, it’s tough to review a venue without reviewing the show… Luckily, I saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show and it was awesome. The theater is in kind of a weird location, and I was thrown off by it. I actually lived down the street for a year and never knew it even existed. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back, which I liked. I was impressed that there was a full bar! I was not expecting that. The lady’s room was a tight squeeze at intermission, but it’s really not that big of theater so it’s understandable. Nothing fancy, which fit the feel of the show well. I’m excited to go back for another show!
