Simplicity Laser Hair Removal

BEWARE– do not do business with this company it is a total rip off.
I used them for over a year, and has absolutely no results. Also was told when I signed up that I could cancel at any time and after 3 different scheduling errors THEY had made, I showed up 3 different times and they refused to treat me and then charge me a $ 20 cancellation fee. I finally have had enough and called to cancel my monthly service and was told they would not cancel it and I that I would be forced to pay a $ 200 policy cancellation fee. In total $ 900 I have spent for absolutely nothing. I’ve called other laser places and talked to several other Dr’s that treat hair removal and they all said that I should have received good results after only 3 – 4 treatments and full results in max of 6 treatments and that they’ve heard of this before with Simplicity. They don’t turn their lasers up enough and so you have to go back over and over for 3 times the amount of treatments. It is a total rip off scam. I will never go back to them and advise you all to go to a more reputable company and as you can see from other reviews I am not alone in this experience. Use at your own risk

Do not waste your money at this place. If I could I would pay for my one session and get the rest of my money back. Here is what happened. I got a groupon and decided to have more treatments done and signed up for a different package. They didn’t tell me about the discount if I paid for it all up front. When I went in to the session I saw a different groupon and asked about it. They said well if you pay up front you get a 20% discount. I said ok perfect and said I’ll pay up front. They said the total would be 1901 and since I had already paid 99 they would charge me the difference and call me when they were going to charge my card. When they charged my card they never called me and over charged me $ 38. They said well we took the 99×24 = 2376 — 99 then took the 20% off and added a member fee. I explained that the member fee was not told to me up front and that they can’t charge that. The lady I spoke with said well it just started after the new year so she probably just forgot sorry there is nothing I can do about that. So now I am fighting with them because they are a dishonest company. I wish I would have read more reviews about the company before going to them. The employees are also rude and have no people skills at all. I hope this review helps you in determining you should go to another place.

They don’t turn up the laser nearly enough to do much good. They said it takes at least 12 visits to get rid of facial hair. (that is one whole year of waiting for it to go away!) Go to a more professional business who adjusts the laser treatment to fit your type of hair. The first time I went to a doctor’s office and it was gone in 4 treatments, not 12.

Groupon sold a series of 6 laser hair removal treatments for only $ 99 at Simplicity Laser Hair Removal. I had my bikini area done by Simplicity and even after 8 visits I still have almost the same amount of hair in that area. It’s as if I never had a treatment. They offered all kinds of excuses but excuses don’t remove hair — good lasers and well-​trained technicians do! I am going back to Renu Medi-​spa to have my bikini area done by professionals! They did my underarms and I’ve never had to shave again.
