I went here the other day to see if they could remove a stain from a pair of Sperry boat shoes. They were honest and extremely helpful. they recommended a product and showed us how to use it. I will continue to go here for any shoe repair need.

We went in about a week ago and found some shoes that we liked and asked them to hold them for us with the plan to come in the next day to pick them up. We did have an emergency in the family and called them the next day to ask if they could hold them for a few more days, but they were extremely rude to us over the phone. When we were finally able to get into the store to pick up the shoes, one of the girls said that«on their behalf» they were really busy that day. We tried to tell the manager, but he didn’t really care about what we said and just pretended to listen to us and looked away the whole time we were talking to him. When he got the shoes that we had placed on hold, they weren’t even the shoes that we had chosen and had been replaced with totally different pairs. They no longer had the shoes that we had originally chosen and had sold them out from under us, despite the fact that we had asked for them to be placed on hold. They were closing, so we asked if they could hold the shoes we had re-chosen and the manager said that he would hold them for us until Tuesday, May 27. We were still upset that our other shoes that we had spent so much time choosing were gone, but we decided to just try to move on. We ended up going back to the store today, May 24, around 12:30pm to try on the shoes. He brought the shoes out and set them down next to us before going to help another customer. We tried on the dress shoes we had chosen and liked how they felt, so when the manager finally got back to us, we asked if he had any Brooks Addiction 10 running shoes in my size since they had sold the original ones we had chosen out from under us. He had some, but they were the newer model, the Addiction 11. We asked if we could try on those, and he brought them out for us to try on. Just as he got the shoes tied, though, he said that it was time to wrap things up since another customer had just walked in, even though there were more employees who could’ve helped. We never even got a chance to even stand up in the shoes to see how they felt since he rushed us to «wrap things up.» I would’ve bought the Brooks Addiction 11 shoes if he hadn’t rushed us so badly. We asked if they could continue to hold one pair of running shoes(until Tuesday, May 27 as was previously agreed upon) that we had previously chosen but hadn’t gotten the chance to try on again, and the manager said that he had to restock them and wouldn’t hold them for us. We decided to just get the dress shoes and orthotics we tried on, and asked if they were able to price match since we saw them cheaper online and the Rosendahl’s website says«We strive to be competitive on pricing; if you find a lower price anywhere, let us know and we will match it. Our little brick and mortar store can meet or beat the prices of the big online retailers!» He started arguing with us, in front of everyone else in the store including employees, that they weren’t a catalog store and that they had spent«a lot of time» with us already and that if he did it, he’d be doing us a favor. After we told him what the website said, he said that his brother was the one in charge of the website and that he didn’t know anything about it and that he would talk to his brother. We showed him exactly where it said about the price matching on their website and he asked what page it was on on the website and then said that it must’ve been recently added, even though we know that that statement’s been on their website for years. Overall, it was a completely humiliating experience and the manager was rude to us and made it seem like he was better than us. My entire family will not shop at Rosendahl’s ever again and they have zero integrity and skills when it comes to doing the right thing and with customer service. By his behavior toward us, he was telling his employees and the other customers in the store that it was okay to treat others with disrespect. We did not deserve this and just stayed quiet. The other people we have recommended to go there will be the last ones that we ever recommend. Rosendahl’s has lost their integrity and respect for others, and in these hard times that is the most important thing a business could have. We would never have expected to have been treated this badly.

I haven’t purchased shoes here, but they specialize in comfortable shoes for people with orthopedic issues. What I’ve gone here for is to have shoes repaired and boots stretched(I have shapely calves). I’ve been impressed with the repair work and the prices are very reasonable. A win!
