Merchants Moving & Storage

Super professional. They’ve moved us and my mom, each time we’ve been impressed by their efficiency and courtesy. They are very conscious of keeping things clean, and damage free.

Wow. WOW! Completed Part Two of the move — involving an entire home’s worth of stuff. Merchants’ team was amazing. There was even an «advance team» (thank you Justin and Brian) who showed up (at exactly the time they said) to strategize over the scary steep driveway so there would be no hiccups in getting trucks in. The moving team arrived and immediately got to work. Danny was our lead guy, working with Dan, John, Anthony, and Pat. Danny explained every step that would take place, the logistics (which stuff and truck would come with which people first, etc.), asked us if we had any questions, requests, issues; meanwhile the rest of the crew got right to work in a whirlwind!
Super efficient, careful, friendly, professional and respectful. I saw one of the guys moving a piece of furniture and he happened to look down and notice a tear in the protective paper they’d put down. Moments later, after he’d placed the furniture, he actually came back to that spot and fixed it. It’s a small thing, but how many would do that? At various times, each of the guys made it clear that they were there to do whatEVER we needed to make the move happen. That’s indicative of the whole experience so far. It was a big effort — 2.5 days — and longer than we’d all expected, but the guys were cheerful the whole time.
They offered to come back to pick up boxes (YAY!!) — Robert did that, and demonstrated the same cheerful, energetic and super-​efficient manner. I asked him to move a few more boxes for me and he was more than happy to do it.
We have three (ugh) more big parts to this move, and we are definitely relieved to be working with Merchants. We even requested the same team members. They make the whole thing far less daunting. Thanks Merchants!

Fabulous moving company and the only locally-​owned one left in Boise! They are an Atlas Van Lines broker so they can move anybody anywhere. Love their sales guy Justin Tarpley especially. He’s a hoot!
