We had the Sicilian meatballs and an all meat pizza. It was all delicious. The serve was quick and on the money. Good choice for dinner.

Good food– good service– the patio is in desperate need of a deep cleaning/power washing. Weeds growing in the cracks of the concrete. the tables are gritty–

Second time here. Cute place. Great staff. Great tasting. Only thing is every pizza ordered is always undercooked in the middle. I recommend requesting they cook extra crispy. That extra minute would make it perfect.

Heard some good things word of mouth from the local folks about this place and stopped in for an early dinner. It’s in a hip little shopping district about 10 – 15 minutes from downtown Boise. Very modern décor inside with a huge hearth oven and a little Gelato bar when you first walk in. Server was outstanding and the overall service was excellent. Ok, so we were the only people in the place at the time, but you can tell when people genuinely care about your experience. I had the Ricotta Gnocchi in a braised beef ragu with shaved garlic and it was amazing. Not nearly enough food in the world today is served with shaved garlic! Serious flavors that worked very well together. Was very happy with this dish and would order it again without question. My friends got a pizza and sandwich combo and a salad and pizza combo, all of which were very good. Fresh, quality ingredients and just a really nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Italian meal in the Treasure Valley!

After my last visit, the manager reached out to me to gain more information so that they could improve their service. It appears that they have done just that. They were very friendly and professional and I would definitely consider going back.

I love this place! Hubs introduced me here! Its close to his work so we usually eat lunch together here. I love the location & how fancy looking it is surrounding this neighboring establishment. Their food is great, I love their soups & the flatbreads are yummy! Enough waiting time!

Great place for lunch with coworkers. This location is not far by the office, easy parking, service is great, food is always good. I always order the choose-2 lunch meal. I have had the pizzas, sandwiches, salad, soup(the only soup served: tomato basil), appetizers… all were good! My kids used to make their own pizzas, usually when we come on the weekends. Great choice when it is hard to make lunch spot selection.

Always reliably good. Unique menu, solid beer selection, good wait staff, and nice atmosphere, especially the patio in summer. This is the best of the Boise area flatbread locations(IMO). Kind of on the expensive side. All kids seem to love it, my kids pick it every single chance that they get to pick(to the point where I get tired of it). It’s a solid 4 stars.

Flatbread is always pretty solid. Creative wood fired pizzas and great salads. The Wedge and chicken apple walnut salads are the bomb. Solid pies but the crust is real flimsy, solid flavors though. We always ask them to cook our pizza a bit longer but that doesn’t help with the flimsy crust, use a fork. Ambiance is a little chainy but all in all a good experience. Service has always been rock steady.

Love the lunch special. Definitely satisfied my cravings & then some. The other Flatbread locations are also great.

We stopped here for lunch today and I partook of the shrimp and chorizo flatbread. It was pretty damn tasty and light. It was topped with feta, I believe, and herbs and spices. It had a built in kick to it but I sprinkled some crushed red pepper on it. a great meal was had. The place was empty when we got there but by the time we left it had filled up.

I came here on my way through town after a long drive. The reviews were solid and I was starving for some real food, so I decided to try it. They had a pleasing beer selection to boot. I had the half salad and a flatbread. The salad was heavenly — golden beets, Roma tomatoes, mixed greens, and a blood orange dressing(so, so good). Freshly ground black pepper on top really set the whole thing off. The flatbread was good — not great, but good. It had roasted red peppers, crushed red pepper, and goat cheese. It was a little heavy on the spice and light on the goat cheese, but the wood-fired flatbread dough was perfect. Service was also good. I was glad that the server asked if I had been there before and clarified some common questions before I ordered. A pet peeve of mine(but I didn’t deduct any stars for this) is when the host asks how many are in your party and then repeats back the number with a «just» in front. «How many?» «One.» «Just one?» She said the same to a party of two after I was seated. A minor complaint; overall it was a very good experience and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through Boise.

This place has the most delicious food at a reasonable price, but that’s not the best part. The best part is the staff. They are so welcoming, personable, and efficient! We especially enjoy seeing Deb and Fred! They are truly great employees who strive to give the best guest experience! Thanks guys!

Unhappy! I’m a regular here(1−2/mo) and the results are spotty in this«original» location. Tonight I ordered a vegetarian add chicken and prosciutto to go. When I arrived about 10 minutes later the lady(new) said the order just went in so it would be ready in 15 minutes. No problem so I ordered a glass of wine to wait. I did not even make it to sit down before the pizza was delivered. oops, no apology. Asked to put it in a warm place while I finished my wine. She put it on the counter. I slammed my wine, grabbed the cooling pizza and went home. Guess what, no prosciutto and probably the lamest topping pizza I’ve ever purchased here. I hope I was not charged for the prosciutto. Owners need huge effort on summer staff training and quality control. Too bad they are the only show this end of town. Soooo much potential, so poor execution much of the time.

It was my first time at Flatbread. We ordered the fondue and then two of the flatbreads. We definitely enjoyed the portobello sausage and arugula with the fig drizzle better than the roasted red pepper. There wasnt anything wrong with the red pepper, but our taste buds just preferred the portobello better. I was kind of disappointed with the fondue. We thought the cheese dip would be thicker, but it came out kind of watery. It was yummy, but just not what we expected. The little one lived creating her own pizza and the other two pizzas offered by party also looked amazing. The green chocolate chip gelato was yummy!

I have been here twice now. The first time was because the restaurant next door was busy, the second I came seeking the same experience I had the first time. The pizza was great, the appetizer was good, although the server didn’t get my order right and brought me something else. My salad had a ton of flavor. Can’t remember the name…(The one with pine nuts). The second time I went, the pizza was burnt, the servers seemed way too busy and the pizza and salad got there at the same time. Funny thing is, I still crave the flavors from the first time I was there. I’ll go back again, seeking to increase my rating.

The food is great and the friendly service is as well. The flatbread appy’s are a great way to start a meal. Their salads are definitely a delicious, full meal. My child loves the kids make your own pizza meal. No crayons & pictures or media devices req’d here. Their pizza dough recipe provides a much lighter & tastier crust, on which you can still pile some very unique toppings. There is usually a good selection of locally brewed craft beers for those of you who share that hop addiction with my spouse. Some say it is on the pricy side, but you get the high quality food and service for which you are paying. In regard to another post, Jamie is a top notch manager who stays on top of everything. If you have any concern at all, she will rectify it. You keep going, girl!

UPDATE: I sent my review below to the company this afternoon and the general manager of the Bown Way responded to me a few minutes ago. I never expected anyone to respond on a Sunday and within just a few hours of contacting them. She apologized and said she had already followed up with some of the employees at the restaurant and invited me to come back again. That’s the kind of customer service I appreciate and the reason I’m bumping them up to five stars, the same rating I gave their downtown Boise restaurant. I really like the company, so it was disappointing when they didn’t measure up to my expectations. I have complete confidence that I’ll have a different experience when I return. Thanks, Flatbread, for listening and getting back to me. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – Earlier, I gave them a three-star rating: If I hadn’t had such great experiences at the downtown Boise and Bend locations, I doubt I would make a return trip. I ordered a «Pick Two» lunch with a sopressata and capicolo pizza and a deconstructed Italian pizza. The pizza was undercooked, which is hard to do in a high-temperature, wood-burning oven. The top of the crust was still doughy and the bottom was likewise underdone. The ingredients, though, were fantastic, as always. The salad was delicious. When I walked in through the doors leading to the outdoor seating, I walked around front and didn’t realize a woman standing next to the bar was a hostess. At the other locations, I’ve never been confused about that. Unlike the servers who have attire identifying the restaurant, the hostess was wearing civilian clothes and didn’t immediately greet me. I looked at her for a moment, she looked back and then asked if she could help me. I love the open kitchens of Flatbread Neapolitan Pizzeria. I enjoy watching the flames inside the oven and watching the cooks stretch dough and make pizzas in full view. The downside for the restaurant is when the cook is between pizzas and he spends his time texting. And texting some more. And then has a server come and look at his phone and either text or play a game. And then another server comes over and they’re laughing at whatever is on the phone. I guess there wasn’t anything more important to do. I wish I got paid at work to text. I gathered that the hostess isn’t the manager because she walked past Mr. Texter and didn’t say a word. Nor did he hide what he was doing. The Bown Way shop is beautiful and I really like the outdoor seating and the fire pit for when it cools off. I just wish they paid as much attention to their service and their pizza quality.

Very tasty pies, perfect crust and toppings. Their salads are often overlooked and where I think they really shine. The chicken apple walnut is excellent as is the chopped kale salad. Diavola is my favorite pie on the menu followed by the sun-dried tomato pizza. Really have never been disappointed in the 5 or so times I’ve eaten here.

Flatbread is one of my favorite restaurants in town and definitely a go-to when we can’t decide where we want to eat. My husband loves their pizzas(the diavola is unique and flavorful) and I seriously have dreams about the chicken arugula basil salad. Also, if you’re in the area for lunch, their Pick Two special is a really great deal. While the food is excellent, it’s really the great customer service that keeps us loyal. Every server that we’ve had has been friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being annoyingly so. Recently, we placed a to-go order and realized when we got home that the salads were incorrect. We called Flatbread just to let them know that we had the wrong order in case someone else was going to end up with our order. We weren’t complaining and planned on just eating the salads that we did end up with but the hostess was more than happy to make the right salads if we wanted to come back. We live very close so it was not a problem to go back. When we arrived, not only did we get the right salads but they refunded us in full for our order AND sent us home with dessert. So we ended up with 4 salads and cookies for free. Talk about great customer service! We weren’t even upset by the mistake but Flatbread really went above and beyond to make us happy.
