As a rule, I avoid visiting any ‘Doc In A Box’ and I have particular issues with Primary Health.
However, I was really not feeling well and left work early. Knowing my doctor does not take walk ins, and not wanting to suffer through the weekend, so I stopped in at a nearby Express Care at Rite Aid.
The computerized sign in process is quick and concise, and within 10 minutes of signing in I was called back. The nurse practicioner was personable and attentive. The exam efficient and her ability to discuss options with me rather than just decided what I needed was very refreshing.
After a bad experience with St. Alphonsus several years ago I vowed never to give them my patronage again, but after this experience with Express Care, I’ve had to rethink that vow.
