THESTORE Well organized for display areas, large store on two and one half levels containing furnishings from good quality middle tier casegood and upholstery brands(like Flexsteel upholstered furniture which my best friend swears by for longevity) to lower end tier brands in styles from contemporary to traditional to ‘what are the manufacturers THINKING’ in huge über stuffed leather pieces, home accessories, appliances and a small selection of lighting and area rugs(Capel brand). This older infrastructure store is an alternate source if you’re looking for brands on par with R.C. Willey for product. HIDDENDELIGHT Our designer tuned us in to CHF to look at a hidden delight in the store of hand crafted furniture in real hardwoods(hickory or maple or cherry) in multiple styles for tables and beds and desks in lovely finishes by Amish country artisans. Which does not mean Amish styled but bench made by artisans in Amish country as opposed to bench made by employees of furniture companies say in North Carolina. Not many folks know they carry this higher end and priced option, she told us, and she thought we should take a look. Now you know too to go look if this might be what you’re looking for. A couple of sample tables, desk, chairs, bed are tucked in an out of the way spot behind the appliance section. Beautifully well made. Worth the time to go see them if you’re in the market for something like that. Won’t be our option but we’re glad we went in. GREATSERVICE The sales staff was super helpful to inquire if we had questions, let us browse without being over helped but followed up from time to time as they watched us walk and sit about to see if we needed help. When we had questions, the woman we talked with knew her stuff to anser them. If you can imagine some of the items that are marked down for«on sale» out of context of the store there could be some gems here at very good price points. We spent quite a bit more time here than we thought we would going in just because of the fun of finding those possible gems for ourselves. See Carl Y’s FTR comments about previous CHF reviews now being listed under a header for PriceLess Furniture Company. And find those excellent reviews at the link here. This N That: 1) Parking: Several spaces in their lot. 2) Accessibility: Accessible parking outside entry door. Level in. Second floor accessible by elevator. The half level up where mostly desks and office furniture are located is via stairs only. Most display areas have adequate path of travel space. The loo(ladies at least) is not accessible because they have extra furniture placed in there.

Strange listing quirk. There are plenty of reviews for CHF, but now there is this review slot and the old one under Priceless. I would refer Unilocalers to that listing Title for more information. I reposted my review on the original Unilocal site below. Since escaping to the Boise area in 2010, we have shopped for and bought probably over $ 18,000 worth of furniture and appliances. We did our due diligence, shopped most of the big boxes, RC Wiley, Sears, Furniture Row, and about all the others. But, in every case we bought from CHF. The reasons were the breadth of selection and brands. Pricing for quality and design was fair and competitive. The Sales person’s knowledge, «bedside manner», and ability to listen and understand our needs and desires. From the start we found that in Tim Myers, who is beyond patient and Mr. No Pressure sales person personified. An additional reason they got our business was their superlative delivery service, both in timing and care. In most cases, their delivery was included in the purchase, if the old furniture or appliance needed to be hauled off, they did it. Set up needed? They did that too. And they usually could schedule delivery within a few days. CHF also owns the Lazy Boy store. And has a clearance and recycled furniture store at a separate location nearby. Although my wife is an advocate of gently recycled furniture, if we need it new, CHF will probably get the business. They have in the past.
