Burlington Coat Factory

I really like Burlington Coat Factory! I like them because they carry brands that I would normally pick up at Macy’s (like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren) for like half the price! The downside is that they usually have clothes that are a season behind trend-​wise, but I generally go for classic pieces anyways, so I don’t have to worry about being on trend because the pieces I pick are pretty much always in style. If I need something a little more trendy or seasonal, I’ll hit up the mall.

It had been quite awhile since I’d been into Burlington, and my last visit was disappointing. However a friend was headed for Burlington and I agreed to tag along. They’ve obviously made some changes, and for the better. I appreciate that their aisles are wide, and that they seem to work on keeping things tidy (unlike Ross where you often find stuff spread all over the place and sizes mixed up). Burlington has a nice selection of plus sized clothing, and from quality manufacturers. I had never looked at shoes before at Burlington and was pleasantly surprised at what they had on the racks. again. with PLENTY of larger foot sizes. Everything seemed reasonably priced. My only issue with this visit is that the restrooms were closed for renovation. It seems odd that they wouldn’t do one at a time and monitor traffic so that anyone who needed the facility would have access. If you are on a serious shopping mission, you’ll likely be in a store for a bit, and well, when nature calls you just can’t say ‘later’.

Great prices on their stuff. Good quality stuff and it won’t break the bank. They also have a wonderful selection of baby stuff, way more than you might expect.
