I don’t think the person that gave the bad review was at this store. They have huge mirrors and it is completely private. The dresses are beautiful and the prices are reasonable. The owner is very sweet and seems to know more than any other bridal store in town. I bought my dress here and I tell all my friends to go there.

I was very disappointed in this shop. The shop working was not very pleasant. The shop was very crowded, with only one small mirror! When a girl is trying on wedding dresses she wants to be front and center with TONS of mirrors & a platform to stand on! Definitely not HERE. Cheap dresses, too.

I did the majority of my dress shopping in Minneapolis. But I actually bought my dress here.(3.5 stars for Bridal Couture) I went here knowing exactly the dress I wanted, and I knew they carried it, but they do have a large variety. The staff is helpful. But I didn’t go here not knowing what I wanted, so I was easy. I tried on 2 other dresses just to know the one I was getting was«right», so there was no stressing the staff out by my Bridzilla characteristics.(Just Kidding, I don’t do that! But if I did, it surely wouldn’t be on t.v., or even in public!) I did go here to search for my bridesmaids dress on a different day. They have a lot to choose from if you like polyester, or other overpriced synthetic flammable fabrics. The staff was very nice. I don’t think they get my «earthy» style, but they weren’t rude. They didn’t tell me either time I popped in that they are appointment only. And they actually sold the dress I bought $ 210 cheaper than what they were selling it for in Minneapolis.

Looked online at stuff, looked at David’s(informally, no appointment), looked through Bridal Couture’s stuff and liked a few things, but really did need my sister’s help to start trying stuff on as she had to talk me into it. I’m sure the appointment system at David’s helps people get over that, but I am so anti-getting-help with stuff I undermined myself. But, once we got to the point of trying stuff on, the attendant was very present(even between me and two other people looking for a dress, one other clerk), and suggested some very flattering dresses I’d passed by. I did have my own veil, and she accepted my harebrained need for it to go without my having to go into any of the reasoning why, and didn’t try to sell me another, or anything I didn’t express interest in. A definite con was the size availability for trying on. I was lucky that the sample dresses were sized 10 and fit me, as they don’t stock more than one size. Wedding dresses are also on a different sizing scale, so it’s really 6 – 8. I asked what bigger girls do, and they said you just have to get into as best you can to see how it would hang, and get measured for your proper size, which you may then pay for and order. I do understand the space limitations, but a size 10 in wedding dress is relatively small for the general population. Later, they referred me to a super seamstress whose name I now forget! but she was so competent and knowledgeable. Verdict: Good selection, more than David’s! But sizes very limited. Very good service.
