B&K Painting

B & K painting painted our home last year and did an acceptable job. We have another home that we were going to have them paint again and we chose another company only because the bid was $ 3500 less and were available because it was a local company there. I emailed B & K to let them know and I received this response «please remove us from your email list». I was extremely taken back with that response. We have dealt with a lot of companies with our remodel and none like this. Service is extremely important to us and in our first job with them we had a few communication issues that were uncomfortable but I still chose to work with them because their work was acceptable. I do, however, feel that this response was unprofessional.

Chris is a true pro. He has excellent communication skills which is a huge plus in this industry. His knowledge in every aspect of painting is extensive you can’t go wrong with b&k.

Really knowledgeable, was able to provide effective and good advice to help me get my door painted. Very nice to help out a complete stranger for absolutely nothing!

When we bought our house, almost every inch of it was painted with a yellow hue. It needed to get painted over but we couldn’t even start to the job ourselves. The main part of our house has tall ceilings and lots of wall, which made the situation daunting. We brought in a couple contractors who told us the job was extremely difficult, would be very expensive and generally made us feel like we were stuck with this color for awhile.
Then…we brought in B&K Painting. Chris shows up with a positive attitude, checks out our house and definitely made us feel better about the possibility of the job getting done. We get the estimate and it’s literally exactly our budget. When John and the painting crew showed up on the job I knew this was going to go well. Super professional. Their crew worked very fast, efficient, and careful. I was impressed on every level. House looks fantastic and I’m hoping to bring them back next year to do some more rooms! Will recommend them to everyone we know!

I don’t write many reviews, but I feel the need to let people know about the good business as well as the bad. This is one of the good ones. I called in August to have my house painted. It’s the original contractor’s paint and has been on the house for 14 years. It needed painting BAD! I priced many painting companies, referenced the BBB and got several estimates. B&K were about the middle estimate but offered fantastic quality paints, warranty, and could get my house painted before the end of the season. In October, they power washed the exterior and a few days later returned to caulk and prime bare areas. They arrived on a Friday to paint. They were at the house at 8 and cleaned up and gone by 3. I arrived at the house at noon for lunch and a swarm of workers were taking care of business!
The house looks FANTASTIC! The paint is great, you can tell it is on thick. Our porch bannister looks so good I can’t believe it.
Chris color matched the original house color (what we wanted) and we decided to very slightly change the trim color. Chris also suggested painting the corners of the house the body color to make the house look more modern. Painting the trim on the corners is how it was done about 15 years ago, when the house was new. Take a look around, you’ll see what I mean.
We LOVE the job they did. They cleaned up everything. They even put my BBQ back on the porch when they were done. I had put it in the grass to be out of the way.
My neighbor came by to say he loved the work they did and had already called them for an estimate!
I highly recommend this company for your painting needs. I’m very satisfied with their work. They will be my FIRST call if I ever need more painting done. It may be a while though, this paint job is going to last!
