Frannie and Nichole are both truly talented photographers!
I hired them to take photos of my son for his first birthday, as well as, a few shots of our little family; and was very happy with the results.
The girls are so creative when it comes to styling their photo shoots. If you have no clue what or where you what the photos to be, they instantly swoop in with props, poses, scenery, etc. For our photo shoot, they attempted to get shots of my son in those faux denim diapers. Quite entertaining to watch! And brought him a piece of birthday cake, so thoughtful!
Their style of photography is definitely not traditional, so if you are looking for a photo of you and your kids all sitting prim and proper with collared shirts in front of one of those fake landscape scenes, then this is not the place for you! :)
Most know Ampersand for their phenomenal wedding photography, which I have seen and is quite breathtaking. But they really have the patience and spunky character to capture the moment with an impatient toddler too.
Photos were very easy to view from a website link, and super easy to order; as well. Very convenient way for me yo share with family and let them decide if they wanted to order any and what size. There were so many photo options, I did get a little confused but Frannie was happy to explain what I was looking at.
Looking forward to hiring them again soon! I now have another little one, and am looking forward to his first professional photo shoot, as well as, an updated photo of our growing family.

The girls from Ampersand are true artists. They are amazing photographers and designers. Not only do they produce beautiful pictures, but they can design any paper products that you may need for your event. If you are looking for someone to help make your event special, they are your girls!

Their motto is «we make you look good» and indeed they do! Francesca and Nichole have impecable style and a fresh take on photography and design. They are a breath of fresh air in terms of service and creativity compared to other traditional/​old-​fashioned wedding photographers in the area. They have fun with their clients and no two photo sessions are ever alike! My wedding photos were exceptional, and I feel proud to say Ampersand captured those moments. They are by far the best Boise has to offer. (Hopefully no one else catches on!)
