My daughter and I went in and donated blood this past Monday it was her second time and once again they made it a pleasant experience for her. They made her feel important and special because she was donating blood.

The Red Cross provides a valuable service in collecting blood for use by those needing transfusions when being treated in the hospital. Everyone at the Boise center, from the volunteer receptionists to the blood technicians are friendly. Great place to give up a bag of blood.
I was chronically afraid of needles but decided to suck it up after 9⁄11. I would encourage everyone to at least consider donating blood. Your donation could help save the lives of three people.
