Ordered a 16 inch«large» pizza, $ 18+ change. I like the smokey, slightly charred crust, not too thin, not too thick, they use quality cheese. I initially like the sauce, but it was Way T00 Salty. I was guzzling water for hours after, I mean, why put that much salt in it? Granted, salt is not high on my diet, but this was over-kill in the extreme. Like I said, the pizza was different, and good, but the salt wrecked it for myself &2 others who ate it with me.

I’ve ordered from Anthony’s for my office on many occasions. So this review is not based on one random order. I have given them more than a few shots at a good meal. Im sorry I had to write this review. The food here is terrible. The sauce on the pizza is too salty, the flavors don’t work, it’s just awful. Go to any of the other pizza places in the area. It just never tastes right. There are so many other places which are better. I think the franchse owner needs to take a better look at things. Waste of $$. Im sorry.

I’m not to sure about their other pizzas yet. However with that being said… The Cauliflower pizza is LIT. Its just basically perfect. Just one thing wrong is the pricing. A small(12inch) Cauliflower pizza is $ 22. I couldn’t believe that. And sadly, no. The pizza did not come with three wishes for that price. I’ve read peoples reviews on here before I went. And a majority of you sound a weee-bit silly. This pizza is not baked in belt driven assembly oven like Dominos or like the normal pizza oven you find at «Little Ginos de fugetabout le Pizza place»(fictional name so don’t sue me). Its COALFIRED lol. Like, completely different heating element people its going to have a bit of «burn» to it. Literally surface burn. scrap it off with a fork. Luckily for ACFP I work relatively close, so when I get only 30min break on OverTime at work, I can stop there quick. Next time I’ll see if they make Personal Pizzas instead of a $ 22 Small.

Staying in the area for work, I was a little disappointed the closer I got to my hotel until I spotted Anthony’s on the side of the road. I instantly knew that’s where I would eat dinner and was looking forward to it. I am not from the area and have never eaten here(I believe it is a chain from the other reviews), so I can only speak for this location but I was absolutely blown away. This place is an awesome, cozy, friendly spot — busy and buzzing with good vibes. Tara at the bar is a total sweetheart and super attentive. Can’t explain how stoked I was to find this diamond in the rough after a 200+ mile day. Get the Chicken with Prosciutto/Red Pepper/Arugula sandwich, you won’t be sorry!

So we tried this place for the first time and right off the bat, they are way over priced. The cauliflower pizza was good just did not expect to pay a premium for it. The meatball and ricotta was just meh on, the balls tasted like canned meatballs think chef boyardee. Why can’t people make a decent meatball I will never understand. If you make a quality product then it warrants a higher price which I have no issues in paying. The place inside is actually nice and it was crowded when we picked up our pizzas. We paid around 45 bucks for a small cauliflower and large meatball. Will not do that again !

Food was ready quickly. Price was a little higher than anticipated. Ordered a small pie, crust was excellent and plenty of toppings.

My significant other and I love to travel for good food. He is a purveyor of fine dining. Anthonys Coal Fired Pizza is no exception. This pizza must be among the top ten we have ever graced our lips with. Would certainly go back.

Came for lunch the other day with my girlfriend and really glad I did! We sat at the bar for a quick lunch and Victoria, my girlfriend ordered before I got there because we were unsure about the lunch rush crowd and timing. Within 15 minutes of ordering we got our lunch size pizza and lunch salad with chicken. The service was great at the bar while it filled up quick during lunch. The pizza was great per usual Anthonys Pizza and the salad was simple and dressed with oil and vinegar. The salad was a good size just wish there was more chicken. The amount of chicken on the salad if eaten alone would have not been enough. The pizza though was great so next time we come for a quick lunch we might skip the salad that cost over $ 10 but wasn’t worth it.

I was very surprised with this restaurant because I’ve been burned by chain restaurants in the past! I came in to meet my boyfriend for lunch so I came a little early to grab a seat at the bar and put a quick order in. It’s a small place but very well kept and it’s nicely decorated inside. The bartender was very nice and attentive and was always checking on how we were doing. We ordered the lunch pizza and lunch salad with chicken on it. I was very impressed with the pizza — I was tempted to order 5 more! It was very tasty and the cheese was nice and gooey which is how I love it. The salad was meh. I liked the dressing on it but it wasn’t anything amazing. And the chicken was a little over cooked and not too tasty. But I would love to come back and taste some of their specialty pies and sandwiches!

Update: I went back yesterday and the music was at a very reasonable level. Not sure if my previous post had anything to do with it, but thanks. Also, I had the eggplant parm pie. Delicious.

Ordered a specialty pie to go from them a few weeks ago. Got home and the entire crust was burnt. Not crispy, but black, crumbling burnt crust. Not only that, but my $ 22 pie was barely covered with the toppings(sausage and peppers) ordered or with basic cheese. Maybe the first experience was a fluke so we figured we’d try again last night. Got the $ 22 ricotta and meatball pie home and it was the same thing. Barely any toppings and burned… again! They had about 4 dollops of ricotta sporadically placed and about a dozen burnt, hard as a rock tiny little meatballs. If you’re into burnt pizza, this place is for you.

The last time I gave Anthony’s coal fired pizza a review, it wasn’t that good. The reason why is because I went to the Anthony’s coal fired pizza in Commack by myself. The other day when my wife said that she wanted to try the one in Bohemia, I was skeptical to go because of the bad Commack taste in my mouth. Gotta make the wife happy, though. Glad she talked me into it. It was like night-and-day. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The only gripe is that the dining area is a little small, but you can eat outside if you wish. The wife thought the food was coming out slow, but that’s the price you pay for ‘perfection’. besides I was surrounded by TV’s playing sports so I wasn’t complaining. Definitely worth going to. Try it out.

My neighbors turned me on to this place and can’t wait to bring my husband here. I tried the coal oven roasted chicken wings, salad & pizza with broccoli & sausage. Everything was to perfection and delicious. Simple Italian cooking at it’s best. Bravo Chef Anthony!!! Even the espresso was perfect. Definitely going back for the meatball pot!

Was passing by this place today and could not resist. Me and my wife recently just walked over the Brooklyn Bridge and had pizza down below. For anyone that knows the pizza in Brooklyn is the best. I have to admit this place was just as good if not better I will definitely be back

Anthony’s is a true gem in an area that seems to have very few«good» restaurants. After traveling from out of state I was searching for a local restaurant and found a winner! Service was fantastic and the food was amazing. The restaurant was extremely clean and you could tell that the management, owners and staff took pride in their environment and service. I ordered the small order of wings and their chicken and broccoli rabe sandwich(I’m a big eater…). Wings were fantastic! Although their pizza is probably great also, I think the wings should be their«can’t miss» menu item. They serve them with amazing caramelized/wood fired onions which make them even better. The sandwich was very good. Tough to say anything bad about it. Perfectly cooked chicken. Great bread. Home run! If you find yourself in the area looking for somewhere to eat Anthony’s should be the spot! Cannot stress enough their high level of service and customer appreciation. Great establishment and one I will definitely come back to if I’m in the area again!

Head and shoulders above any major pizza chain(Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa Johns, Little Caesars). It’s been such a long time since I’ve had real coal fired pizza, it was yummy goodness on a piece of bread. I went with a party of six, so had the chance to sample the chicken wings, mozzarella, meatballs as well as the pizza I ordered. It’s a little pricey but the customer service and experience is wonderful and worth the price. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for real pizza.

First time visit and we loved it! We started our meal with the coal fired oven wings which were delicious. For our meal we got a half meatball and ricotta half Philly cheese steak, both were outstanding. The manager suggested some red sauce for dipping the Philly which was awesome. The Philly steak was marinated and had great flavor. Our server Dawn was the best part, very knowledgeable of the menu and super welcoming. I will definitely be back.

I came here for a Happy Hour on a day where they have martini specials for $ 5 bucks. I think it might have been a Wednesday. So you would assume if a place has a martini special they would have a list??? Well not this place… and I was caught off guard… I usually like to browse the list and will get something that catches my eye. Well I asked the guy what kind do they have and he rambled off a couple and I just chose one. It was eh ok. I didn’t order anything else to drink after that. Come on… GET A LIST! It’s not that expensive to have them printed out. So the pizza… I got the arugula pie for myself. It was the small one but it was perfect for two people. If I knew that I would not have got other food with my BF. But the pizza was delicious. I ate it cold the next day and it was great!(who doesn’t like cold next day pizza?! LOL) The place is nicely layed out though and has live entertainment some days. I guess I would go back again but not in a planned situation. Review by Sassy Natty

This Anthony’s deserves another 4 from me. It’s about 15 minutes away from my house and it’s pretty good pizza. Now I know it isn’t anywhere as close to being like Grimaldi’s but for a chain… for what it’s worth… it’s pretty good. My chief and top complaint for this location is the parking. Let me just say this and I’m putting it very mildly! The parking situation is terrible!!! Granted this is really not Anthony’s and Starbucks’ fault but man! It stinks! It’s so bad that you can give your car to valet and they can park your car for you! Other than that our waitress was quick and polite and we got our energy back and ready to run some errands! If you like crispy thin crust pizza and don’t want to wait at Grimaldi’s come to Anthony’s. It’s not as awesome as Grimaldi’s but it’ll fix some of your hankerings.
