Pizza is ok. Timing is terrible. Quoted 20 minutes to pick up. It has now been nearly an hour. Still standing here waiting.

Pizza is ok here but the star of the show is the meatballs. If you come here get the meatball parm or meatballs with sauce. They were delicious. Would definitely return for them.

Nothing bad to say about the food. All I have to comment on is the horrible customer service I received. I called in to place an order and the person who answered was already rushing me from the beginning by trying to get me to finish up with my order. There was an item they didn’t have which forced me to have to think of something else I wanted. Not even 5 seconds goes by and this girl tells me «um ma’am you need to have your order ready because I have other customers that I need to get to.» Um hello?! What am I not a customer?! Well Congrats! You get one star

I just called for a delivery to be made, and the girl who answer my call was the worst and nasty person I have deal with, I call very often because my kids like the pizza, but it is the last time I call this place. It’s a shame that this happen, but I wish to know the owners phone number so I could make the complaint to him.

Jeez, people. Why y’all so dark on Papa’s? I’ve ordered pies for the office a few times and have only ever gotten nods of approval as my coworkers cram in those tasty slices. Service has always been just fine.

If I could I would give this place a no star rating because that’s what it deserves. I was skeptical because I had tried their pizza before and it wasn’t that great nothing special, but I was really in the mood for chicken Francese. When I ordered the young girl on the phone was very rude answering in one word sentences. I waited a total of 45 minutes for my food. I was so upset when I got home and took that first bight. It was like BBQ chicken extremely sweet, no flavor at all. Avoid this place when in Teaneck go to Angelos in Bogota its down the street.

I live right by it so it is convenient. The food is well priced. I don’t know of any other pizza place that you can get a Veal Parm dinner for $ 10.00 or a baked ziti for $ 6.50. The food is good and the service is friendly. It is now my go to spot.

I recently moved back to Teaneck and while I have never given it a chance in the past, I am now down the street and figured, why not?! The pizza is pretty good, and probably better than what I expected. They have $ 8.00 pizzas on Wednesdays and the quality is always the same. The people who work there are also nice and don’t give an attitude when they are busy, We have since created pizza Wednesday because this place and would definitely call it one of the best deals in town! If you wanna give it a chance, get a pie on a Wednesday, you won’t be disappointed!

Ordered from here before and pizza was ok. Recently placed an order for delivery and after waiting 2hrs for my pizza, i had tell them to keep it. When i called, the girl that answered the phone said the driver was really busy. This place must have a delivery person that does deliveries on a unicycle because 2hrs is ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else.

The pizza is just that — pizza. Nothing good — nothing bad. It is a bit on the pricey side for blah pizza though. This place is good if you are starving and you’re going to be in the neighborhood. This is NOT the place to go out of your way for which I have in the past. Who DOESN’T go out of their way for good pizza??? The girl at the counter is a freaking space cadet and to be honest — seemed high on something. BUT — I guess you can’t mess up 2 plain slices to go. I would have much rathered to have eaten my pizza there in the warmth, while watching TV but the stupid counter girl kept taking videos or selfies on her cell phone and laughing loudly with the guys in the back that it didn’t seem like a place I could sit and eat in peace — totally annoying — so I ate my lackluster pizza in the car. Angelo’s in Bogota is under new management and their pizza is no longer the same but I will definitely drive the extra few blocks to eat the pizza there than here.

The pizza is neither good or cheap. The sauce is very weak and cheese is bit salty, or maybe it’s the other way around? It is also limp and at $ 2 a slice, overpriced. This is the type of pizza you would find at a high school or middle school. There are no other pizza by the slice options in the area, so they receive a lot of business through default. Do not make the mistake of coming here through choice. Only by necessity…

I’m here because this place can’t deserve the poor review it’s getting. This is the place to get pizza from in this neighborhood. I work in a large establishment and we’ve had quite a few pizzas from around. If you care about crust, this is the place. Specialty pizzas are great. Don’t know about the rest of the menu.

Ok, I’m confused by all the low ratings. It might be because of the service but taste-wise, this is the best pizza in the area. The sauce and dough is seasoned, texture of the dough is perfect. Don’t order tuna wraps, wings. Go across the street for them, Gerdes for sandwiches and Pek Pek for wings… Angelo’s changed ownership and they still don’t have their act together.

Pap’s pizzeria is a sad establishment. I honestly could make a better sandwich in my own kitchen. I got a tuna wrap, literally looked like someone put tuna, one piece of lettuce, and decided to put it on my table. Honestly… it was awful. My sister got a burger and felt the exact same way. The burger was dry, tasteless and not even well cooked. It was a sincere waste of a $ 12. Go somewhere else if you’re looking for a decent meal. AVOID this place at all costs.

This was pretty bad. Everything tasted really cheap and like they just didn’t care. Sauce tasted like Prego, cheese tasted like chemicals. Also, the girl behind the counter set our box down on a fresh pie. Getting grease and sauce on the bottom of the box, not to mention a box on top of food people were going to eat. She was super friendly but come on, that’s pretty gross. Definitely won’t be back here any time soon, not even if I’m at Andy’s and am craving a slice to go with my beer.

If I could give this place 0 star, I would. We ordered pizza and wings there twice, and both times they came awful. The wings were not evenly coated and it lacked sauce and flavor; after a few bites of some of the wings, I found some meat close to the bone uncooked! Gross! Chicken wings are so easy to make and you can find it everywhere. To be honest, I have never eaten any wings that are remotely awful like the one in Papa’s pizzeria, never ate such awful wings ever anywhere else. Their pizza taste like raw flour mixed with yeast, towards the edge of the pie. Similarly, I have never eaten any pizza as terrible as this anywhere else. There is one pizzeria on Palisades Ave in Bogota, right off Main St, called«Palisades Pizza and Deli». They are always busy — their food is always fantastic! No matter what you order! They take their time to cook, make it right and many things taste like homemade. We absolutely adore Palisades Pizza and Deli. We stick to them when ordering take out deli locally.

2012 Update I don’t know what happened to the food here, but it is definitely not what it used to be! I’m sitting here eating a Pizza Margherita that was made with canned tomatoes. Really? Never in my life have I eaten a slice of Pizza Margherita that was not made with fresh tomatoes. They used to have good salads. I used to enjoy their Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, but that was years ago. I ordered it a few months ago and it was unrecognizable compared to it’s previous preparation. This time the croutons were tiny and square and easily from a box, the dressing was cheap food service grade dressing, and the rest of the salad was totally forgettable. We also used to like to order their spaghetti and meatballs, until the last time we ordered that which was also several months ago. Their once mild sauce which tasted like it was authentically home cooked was now way too salty and spicy. Their meatballs had more breading than meat. It was actually very embarrassing. Here I am telling family members that they have good food and then we order a meal to be delivered and it’s horrible! I really didn’t want to write this update and have been putting it off but after today’s pizza, I felt that it had to be said. I really wish Papa’s would step up their game and bring back the quality of food that they used to serve. 2008 Original This place serves good food. My office used to order lunch from them many times. They serve one of the best pizza slices that you will find in NJ, almost as good as NY pizza. ;) All of their portions are huge. Usually always enough pasta or salad or hero to share with another person. Their plain cheese pie is good, but their pizza margherita, which I have only seen there a few times is just incredible. They also serve personal pies which are made to order. I would recommend anything on the menu as I, or anyone I know who has eaten there, has never been disappointed.
