Why is it that everything out of State (my home state — California) seems much better in quality, prices (well that ones obvious), people, atmosphere, etc., so refreshing. Anyhow, Valero Gas Stations, usually nothing spectacular to rave about, but this one was rather nice. I loved the little Texas stars on the boys & girls room (restrooms.lol)
It also seemed like they had more selection & better quality on beverages — both hot and cold & snacks — both cold & hot. Restrooms were clean & stocked w/​tp. Gas seemed like it was better than the usual Valero’s in California too.
If your driving on the I-​10 from where ever your coming from, this is a nice little pit stop.

Was driving along I-​10W and wanted to fill up before making the drive to El-​P. Filled up with ease and got some tasty breakfast thru the station’s deli. Coffee was fresh and everything was good. Would recommend this store.

Hockley, TX
Although the store was closed on xmas eve at 11PM, I was still abel to pump gas since they leave the power on the pumps.
I just wanted to get gas becuase I thought maybe I would not find an opened gas station first thing in am on xmas. That way I could leave to go home without worrying about stopping for gas.
The store did look very new when I looked inside when I checked the doors to see if they were opened.
