Sonic Drive-In

The Island Fire burger was very good — sweet, spicy but not overly done on the spices. The fries were fresh and had a very «potato-​y» taste — kinda like Burger King’s old-​style fries so just as a heads up in case you’re not into that style you may sub in some onion rings or tots (onion rings here are very tasty as well!).
Service was a disaster. Everything that could go wrong went wrong; I asked for a single patty, they made my burger a double. I asked for a sweetened Raspberry Tea they made it unsweet. Food services is all about listening and they really missed the boat here.
Overall, the pricing is in-​lin with what you’d expect from a fast food chain. But as a final thought: EVERY (if not close to all) Sonic location here in San Antonio has a Unilocal rating of ³⁄₅ stars. HELLO, OWNERS: maybe it’s time to start listening and straightening these locations up! Or are you waiting until Sonic is about to go out of business to start reacting?
