Pretty good BBQ restaurant in Boca Raton. The meals are served on a wooden platter that is interesting and makes sense vs a standard plate. The portions are large and the quality is good.

Waited 10 minutes after being seated to get a menu and water. Once we ordered it took 3 minutes to get our food and it tasted that way. After getting our food we never saw the server again. Half hour later we got a manager to get us some water and the check. On our way out the waitress finally came over to us to apologize. Would never go back.

Worst service I’ve ever received or DIDN’T receive. Was greeted at the door and sat down with menus and not one of the waiters came by to take a drink order and walked out after 10 minutes. There must have been a handful of people there. I’d hate to see this place busy. Good luck. When we left, there was a hostess and 2 waitresses at the stand and they said«goodbye, thanks for coming.» They didn’t even realize we walked in 10 minutes before that!!! FAIL

It was a my first time to Smokehouse and I’m not disappointed. My brother and I got the lunch special ribs and wings combo and, while not spectacular, was decent enough for the price. However, the one thing that is going to keep me coming was the fantastic service. Our waiter was knowledgeable on everything and was extremely helpful. I used the 10% offer from Unilocal, and although the management was scratching their head about ever having the offer, was more than happy to give us the coupon. All in all, decent food and fantastic service warrants it a solid 3 – 4 stars in my books!

Went last night and left very dissappointed. I ordered the St. Louis ribs dry. It came black and very dry. No «fallen off the bone» here. The pulled pork was extremely fatty and also drier than we like. The«roast» chicken looked very unappatizing, like soup chicken. I couldn’t bring myself to even taste it. Yellow rubbery skin. The cornbread was inedible and the pork and beans tasted like Cambells out of the can. Will not be back.

Today I was in West Boca near Clint Moore and 441 and I could smell the aroma of hickory wood in the air. I followed the smell and traced it to the Smokehouse Grille and Wingery. While Michelle had a manicure and pedicure next door, I dropped in at the Smokehouse for a quick lunch. I was cheerfully greeted at the door by Chelsey, who said she had worked there since this location opened a few month’s ago. She informed me that the food was very good and I should try it. Since it was 12 noon on a Sunday the place was practically empty and she led me to a nice table in the center of the restaurant. The menu was extensive and in my opinion offered way too many choices. I have found that most places that offer an abundance of choices spread their expertise pretty thin and therefore a lot of items they make are just mediocre. I personally think a restaurant is better to offer fewer items and make sure that they all are the greatest! Sergio, my server, was very informative and made a few suggestions for me to think about. He was also very knowledgeable about the way the meat was smoked and why the barbecue was better than other places in the area. The number one reason being that they actually smoke all the meat right at the location. Hence the great aroma permeating the neighborhood. I chose the Carolina-Style Pulled Pork Sandwich for $ 7.35. It came with an order of fries and a side of cole slaw. Sergio explained the three different bbq sauces on the table and I tasted them all. My choice for this sandwich was the mustard-vinegar based sauce. It had a very interesting taste: barely tangy with a slight after taste of vinegar. The sandwich was excellent and the sauce blended with it perfectly. I think the Smokehouse Grille and Wingery is the REALDEAL and I will be back again soon.

service was lacking a little bit. drinks sure came slow for a place that wasn’t full. Also, after we paid the check, we sat around and talked a few minutes and no one so much as asked if we wanted some water or anything. Staff concentrated on their table and thier table only! .wings were excellent. Pulled pork was, as another reviewer had stated, A LOTOFFAT! I got a pit platter that had smoked sausage just to get the sausage. The sausage wasn’t good at all. It was dry as a bone. It was disappointing to say the least! Ribs were good though, $ 1.50 drafts made up for some of the mishaps. Wife had chicken and shrimp and said shrimp were very tasty and chicken was a little dry, but not overly.

Updated: Back the second and the smoke was not a problem so they most have figured it out, place is bigger and packed both times we went. Loved the Prime Rib such much the first time, I had it again! Can’t wait to try the Beef Ribs! First time to the new place since they moved out west. Prime Rib and Fish sandwich tonight. There was a lot of smoke in the new place and I think Mark is going to need to work on that. I think people want to taste it not smell like they cooked the food.

I went here with my parents. When we sat down they told us they were out of 2 of the 3 kinds of ribs they serve. We ordered the only one they had left, baby back. We also ordered 16 of the smokehouse wings with a side of medium sauce, fries, collared greens and the onion smash. The food took what felt like forever to arrive. The wings had a mild smokey flavor but it was nothing special. The sauce was terrible. I used BBQ sauce instead. The ribs were decent. The meat completely fell off the bone, you had to eat your ribs with a fork. The collard greens were okay and the onion smash was not very good. The fries never showed up. The bbq sauce itself was okay.

Hands down best wings in South Florida, and one of the only restaurants even worth going to for chicken wings in the area… I usually go for the crazy spicy wicked, but if you can’t handle the spice, the sweet and tangy is a great too. I BBQ my own wings usually and have a really high standard for wings(we have wing-off competitions and it gets pretty serious), so I usually don’t even order them when I go out because it inevitably ends in disappointment… but smokehouse wings are damn good. The wings are the smaller, non-fatty style, and really crispy… I hate when wings are all soggy and chewy, gross. they do them just right! Wow. Onion rings were on point too. And if you are a drinker, you can’t beat $ 1 domestic beers ever freakin weekday… i think its a 10 oz glass but still… I’m pretty sure that this new location is replacing the East Boca location on US1… this one is way bigger inside and a little nicer… I live in Ft Lauderdale but I usually stop at Smokehouse whenever I’m up in the area. Yum. Def worth the trip. The person who gave this place 1 star must be competition or something, or just has no idea what they are talking about. Check it out if you are a wing fanatic like myself!
