Ocean Nails Spa

Great price for a great pedicure. Nothing fancy, but a very thorough job. Clean place, even the bathroom. Friendly staff– not very talkative but not rude by any means. Would come back again when in town.

Not sure about the bad reviews I have always been able to get in without appointment and the technicians that have done my mani/pedi’s have been great.

Bummed. My girlfriends go here weekly I had made an appointment for my lunch break and well waited 30min and had to leave.

ok sooo… ive been here about 5 times. the first two times everything worked out well. i got my eyebrows done by penny, shes is probably the best one there. the second time i went in for mani pedi it was ok too, nothing crazy!!! now after i went in for french tips and i wasnt so happy with my set. i had showed penny a pic of how thin i wanted my nails. the man did my nails fat. terribly large for my small hands. i let it go since they seemed to be under stress because an inspector was there. Now, the next two times were just bad except for when penny did my pedi. today was just horrible. they cut me twice, she seemed too be a newbie. did not know what she was doing. as a business owner shouldn’t you be on top of whats going on. my pedi is just terrible. i honestly will not be going back!!! im really dissapointed. im a big believer in second chances and it just didn’t work out. the women are nice and so is the guy but they seem to not what they’re doing.

The salon is great for last minute appointments. They are always accommodating and fast to get you seated and taken care of. Technicians are decent, do your average nail spa paint job not perfect yet very good one of the best in the area. (I say this because I am partial to Brazilian manicures, they are the best and pay high attention to detail and best prices). Needless to say everyone is friendly and a pleasure at this salon, but since I am picky I try to go to Penny if she is available. She is an artist and really takes direction well and takes her time, amazing attention to detail! Also her nail art is sooo good, the best! I highly recommend this salon and their prices are cheaper than your average boca nail salon which is a plus!

Well, it’s our first time here. Folks here are very very nice, and waaay too overbooked. I’m sitting in my chair waiting on my guy because he’s now doing a super quickie-​rush polish application on my daughter as her guy has been busy answering phones all morning and just left her sitting here. He is currently doing a mani on a walk in customer who came in after us! He’s standing up doing it, too. Lol!
Also there’s no English spoken here. I’m pretty sure my guy speaks no English. I showed a picture so we’re good.
Bottom line… wouldn’t rush back. Lady next to me left after sitting for 10 minutes. She had an appointment.
The job they did is good. Cannot complain about that.

Awesome nail salon! This has been the best salon I’ve been too! Everyone was really friendly. I made an appointment but didn’t really need it! Penny is awesome and so is her dad ! They actually take their time and make sure every thing comes out good! Will100% recommended it

I walked in around 645pm and according to the door sign they close at 7pm. They were still pretty busy and took me for a mani/​pedi. The ladies were so friendly and did a great job. I will be back. Thank you!

Yesterday (12÷26÷13) my mom, sister and I went to ocean nails for a mani/​pedi ($ 28 special). I opted to get gel polish for an extra $ 15, it was my first time trying gel polish. I hear it’s supposed to last 3−4weeks, so I went ahead and got them done. That night when I got home one nail was already chipped at the edge of the nail. The next day, not even 24 hrs after having them done THREE nails were lifted where I could just pull the polish right off in one piece. I didn’t do any type of «hard work» that day, no yard work, only wash dishes and cook. So needless to say I’m am NOT happy with the job done at Ocean Nails and will not recommend to anyone else. As far as the mani/​pedi it left a lot to be desired, NONE of us were happy with it. We felt they didn’t take their time, they rushed thru it like most of these places do. My sister didn’t even get the warm towel on the legs/​feet thing while my mom and I did. They left a lot of cuticle and dead skin on both hands and feet. Let’s just say we left there not looking like we had just gotten a mani/​pedi. So moral of the story, save your money and go somewhere else!

The atmosphere seemed unorganized. I asked for some nail designs and perhaps Penny wasn’t there, but it turned out nothing like the photos. On top of all of this, I was asked whether I wanted a gel manicure and/​or an overlay on my nails several times to the point of annoyance. If I say no the first five times, I figured he would stop asking, but it never stopped… I have long and strong nails that I like to change at least once a week… Gel manicures are known to be damaging to the nail bed, so really don’t appreciate when the nail technician has their own agenda to upsell me instead of my best interests.

Great gel manicures! Great color selection! I have been here many times and am never disappointed! It is a great small place and they do a quality job. It’s great when places have a good selection of gel polishes and this one does!
