Have been to this restaurant numerous times. The food selection is good and the food even better. Can get pricey at times with specials, but specials don’t have to be chosen. They have tripe which not many people seem to like but I do and it is the best I’ve had outside of mom’s. Highly recommend Nino’s in Berecasa Way.

My wife and I like veal parmigiana. This might be the best I’ve ever had. We’ve been three times and will continue to go back. The meal starts with garlic knots. She gets the house salad I get the pasta e fagioli, which is outstanding. Lots of ditalini pasta and beans, a little tomato, onion, carrot in a rich broth. I got the veal cutlet(they also have a veal chop) she got the veal and eggplant combo. She was expecting a piece of veal and a piece of eggplant. But no, what they do is layer thin slices of eggplant above and below the veal and cook it together. Wow! Portions are large and it comes with your choice of pasta and sauces. You will enjoy the leftovers the next day. Our server explained the menu and was very personable. He was attentive and even told us where the cannoli cream comes from in NY city. Oh by the way, the cannoli was excellent too. Don’t leave without one.

i give this place 4 and half stars but since they are actually running a business like a real business and treat customers right and have a clean place i give them 5 stars. when you compare this place to lets say dominics on 441 look at the care how they package your dinner, how chicken parm was made, with care. domenics is a joke compared to this place drive a couple of miles and go to ninos there meatballs are great as well. not cheap but worth the money

This is strictly about their take-out/delivery. Over the last 4 months or so 95% of our orders were not the same quality sandwich we were used to from them or the order was wrong in some way — wrong item, items missing etc. Examples: Once we received their mozzarella sticks but the sauce was missing. Christmas Eve when we were missing a soup that I paid for. Cold sandwich quality went from being heavy with meat to barely having only 2 thin layers. And no, it is not good enough to give me a credit(which I never got by the way, but I will take the blame for that since I didn’t push.) or offer to deliver again some time in the next hour. We complained to the owner, to the manager, and to the staff on numerous occasions. So on January 21st,(our last order) my husband’s cheese steak came with lettuce and fried onions. The order called for lettuce, tomato, and raw onions. So that is it. I gave up. Since that time, I have given a competitor, $ 176 worth of business, not counting tax or delivery charges or tips. I thought we could at least go and sit there and have a meal once in a while because their dinners are good but my husband refuses to go back and told me that I should go alone. And now, a client who wanted to give my husband a gift certificate for there also gave up after trying to get one twice. He sent us a check to go wherever we want. It is a nice, warm atmosphere with great staff and I would still give 5 stars to dine in but it looks like I will not be doing that ever again.

I think this is one of the better Italian restaurants in the area. I have been eating here for many years and the quality of the food has always been very good. Always ask what the specials are. Some of the specials over the years have been incredible. The pricing is not cheap but fair for the quality and portion sizes. They used to only accept cash but now you can pay with a card but just not Amex. Not accepting Amex is an inconvenience and since they no longer charge companies extra to accept the card, they really should change this policy. This place can get busy and is sometimes louder then I would like but again… The food and service are worth it.

It was too cold to eat in so we had then pack up our order to go. After I paid w/my cc I noticed I was charged twice for sautéed spinach &2 separate prices. There was no manager on duty so they couldn’t credit my cc. They asked if I would be okay with a dessert. We arrived home, unpacked everything to discover my side of pasta missing. Ugh. Not worth going back. The Veal parmigiana was a large portion, but lacked tenderness. The sauce had a good flavor. The spinach was good, the salad had ½ small tomato and lettuce, with nothing else added to it. The sausage, peppers and onions on a roll was large. The bread was fresh, peppers & onions properly cooked and the sweet sausage was cooked but a but dry because they cut it lengthwise to cook it on the grill. The free dessert-wait it wasn’t free-because I was over charged twice for sautéed spinach — was the best of what we ordered. The tiramisu cream lacked flavor. The server was friendly. Would I go back? Nope. Never.

My hands down favorite Italian in Boca and beyond. Was a regular for 13 years and moved back to NY. Every time I come down for family visits Ninos is a must! The chickenparm is simply the best ever and their marinara sauce on it and accompanying pasta is a must! Terrific pizza too!

What a yummy night out at ninos! Not sure why I haven’t thought to come here sooner since I live close by. When looking for pizza in the area I figured to give them a shot. After reading a few Unilocal reviews without a doubt I had to try the mozzarella sticks. Now these babies are HUGE. The order comes in 4 with some marinara sauce for dipping. When our order came out I cut a mozzarella stick in half and sadly it was uncooked in the middle. We got our server who was apologetic and got us another order. The mozzarella sticks are amazing. And you figure how can one really say that about a mozzarella stick. but I’m telling you these are the bomb! You need to get some in your life/mouth asap. We got a large pizza to share. The thin(neopolitan) crust pizza starts at 11.50 with no toppings. You can add topping for a cost. We split the pie so the BF got pepperoni on his half and I got eggplant, artichokes, and ricotta cheese. The pizza was really good and huge we took half of it home. Overall the food is good as is price and service. I will Definitely be back to feast here again.

Stopped in for lunch while we were in town for a conference and were pleasantly surprised. Such attentive staff and excellent food! We made it in before the big rush– it got quite busy before we left. The white pizza is incredible!

This is the best pizza place my husband and I could find when we moved to the Wheeling/Palatine area over 16 years ago. Not only is their pizza good but the lasagna is the best I have had outside my family homemade. The service is always good and one of the owners is always present.

This review is for delivery only* Person taking the order over the phone was courteous and friendly, said that pizza would be delivered in an hour but it took less time. The pizza was delicious, thin crust and even a «non pizza» eater that tried it, loved it. I highly recommend it, although it is a little pricey, but it is Boca.

Best pasta fajol soup I’ve ever had. Must be home made. Pizza took awhile but it was good too. The spicy cherry peppers were a fantastic addition to the Hawaiian pie.

Tried Ninos, after a bad experience earlier in the evening at chain Italian place. Michael our server provided us with quick and efficient service. Garlic knots for the table. The entrée was good and plentiful. Price was a tiny bit high for the area, will be back to try the pizza.

We periodically order take out lunch for the office so my review is based on that type of experience. Ordering on the phone is simple and friendly. Pick up is seamless. And the food itself is good stuff. The roast beef sandwich is my favorite– they make their own beef and it is perfectly done! We typically order a house salad too because their house dressing is ridiculous. I literally dip my lettuce into it like fries in ketchup. I also use it on my sandwich. And if there’s pizza being eaten, it’s good for the crust too. I’ve never dined in, but my coworker goes and says it’s legit so I’ll throw in as a plus.

Exceptional small family owned Italian restaurant… casually walked in for a lunchtime pizza… we were surprised to find that they offered multiple lunchtime specials with various soup, salad and pizza combinations… their lunch time menu appeared to be somewhat more interesting… my wife opted for spaghetti and meatballs which came with a thick marinara sauce and a large perfect meatball without any hint of breadiness. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente… unquestionably a 5 star dish in this mall setting. I chose the ziti with broccoli rabe and sausage in a white slightly creamy sauce which had a wonderful unique flavor… a 5 star winner. Our meal was preceded by a somwhat boring generic salad which had a single tomato slice & a generic blue cheese dressing. Pam, our waitress was pleasant and efficient. After looking over the dinner menu I am sure to return, since the menu had some items not normally seen in the typical run-of-the-mill family mall italian restaurant. …namely, trippa Ala romana… not a bad lunch dish with a glass of chianti… maybe next time. Authenticity is further enhanced by Nino’s scungilli offerings. Again maybe next time.

I love Italian food. It’s beyond comforting. Without going into details, if I’ve ever had to find myself in Boca, I’ve also been in need of comfort food. Can we all be honest with each other? Food choices in Boca Raton are, well, boring. I mean, when 95% of the population is on a low-sodium, no fat, no carb, no flavor diet, it’s difficult to make good food. So Nino’s shines. When I came in with my family the other day, they were very busy, and we did have to wait quite a while for service, but our waiter apologized multiple times. I could see that we were on the butt end of a quadruple seating in his section, so it’s understandable. In addition to the bombtastic garlic rolls that I remember from my youth, we had a large cheese pizza to share as a table. It was a little too oily, but the crust was delicious. For my dinner, I ordered the stuffed eggplant parmesan, which was like a manicotti made with thinly sliced breaded eggplant instead of pasta. It was just what I needed. I love ricotta cheese, and there was plenty of it! My entrée also came with a house salad and a side of spaghetti. I was stuffed by the end. The food did kind of crawl out of the kitchen, but at least it was delicious!
