Another lifetime ago, I visited a salon in London by the name of Miami Nails. It turned out to be a complete Horror show! So was the trip but that’s another story.
The salon in London ‘looked’ clean but, as is the case with many of these salons, the foot baths were not cleaned nor disinfected properly and my visit ended up costing me a relentless infection on my toe nail. It was painful, ugly and right down disgusting. Since then, I decided to never be shy about asking questions regarding cleaning procedures. Including, how often, with what and if filters are changed. If a place doesn’t like you asking these questions then move on. The fact that I had an infection made me even more cautious about where to go as I didn’t want anyone to suffer the same shame and pain. Looking back, I can almost laugh at that statement.
It was when I arrived in Boca and in hunting for a new place that I met Marisol. The moment you meet Marisol it’s clear to see that she’s a true professional. And not too long after that you realize that she’s also a magnificent and caring human being who just happens to be your manicurist. Shes very knowledgable and inspires trust. It’s because of that trust that I allowed her to completely REMOVE my grotesque nail. She then guided me on how to treat it and within several months it had grown and was 100% back to normal. That was it! I was sold for life. Marisol was it for me.
I’m THRILLED with this relatively new place that she has opened in the Boca Valley Plaza, right next to Publix.

The salon is gorgeous. It’s small but she runs a perfect schedule so most of the time you are the only one there and your are always given complete and personal attention. All her equipment and furniture is state of the art so you can be pampered to your hearts desire.
She has expanded to include all of the things that she has been trained to do… facials included!
I love my visits at this place. Complete pampering for the mind and sole!
