The Eagles tribute band was fun, and the server was efficient. However, the venue is too small to accommodate the amount of people they require a cover-charge from to enter. Had it been made clear that we would have been relegated to the back of the bar prior to entering, we never would have gone. The patrons who get tables are treated like VIPs, and the others are treated like nuisances. I paid my cover in single bills. The manager joked about me hitting it big at the strip club. Crude and rude. The show started well past the designated time. I listened to 3 songs, before I grew weary of being shuffled to the back. Shouldn’t have even bothered asking for a refund. The manager spewed further insults. Definitely not my scene. There are too many other finer establishments to support.

Great small music venue with friendly welcoming staff looking to attend to every patron’s enjoyment and comfort. Table service, food, full liquor bar and not a bad seat in the house. Great sound and light system in place. Valet parking $ 5 across the street, easy access. Varied line up of artists, check out Funky Biscuit and Support Local Music Venues!

This place is amazing. I had to read the other reviews before we bought our tickets, so I was skeptical going in. But understanding the concept, and understanding the process, made our night amazing. This is not a bar or restaurant, it is a live music venue, where they sell tickets online to shows that are performing there. So we get to follow our favorite local or regional bands and see them at The Biscuit. When you purchase tickets you book a seat. Everyone is talking about charging people for seats. That is because their business model is on selling tickets to the musical shows. We went there last weekend and the management there was amazing the staff was friendly, the service and food were great. We had the biscuits, and oh my God. You have to try them. I met the general manager, his name was Eric. He was knowledgeable and friendly and explained everything top to bottom. He saw us to our seats made sure we were okay throughout the night and the music was phenomenal. If you are a music fan I strongly recommend this venue to you. They are full liquor and have a great menu. But their focus is the music. If you are interested in a homemade reasonably priced dinner check them out. And they have bourbons and scotches that most bars do not. This is a jewel hidden away in Boca Raton. I can’t wait for Biscuit Fest coming up next weekend.

Came in from NY to hear some good music and have fun. We called about reserving a table, the woman on the phone was very sweet about walking us through the process. Only problem, was that she told us to take table 32, it’s a great spot, didn’t mention that we would have an obstructed view, and that we would have to, be sitting behind a guy that insisted on taping the whole show and his«Big ***» camera blocked our view for the whole show. They really should mention that some seats have obstructed views, I really would have picked a different table, but since the show was so crowded we were stuck there. The waitress was super nice, she did her best, but the bar got our order wrong, and the food was just okay. In truth, I would go back, the place was really nice, but now I know better!

I’m a New Yorker who comes south a few times a year and when I do this joint is my go to spot. Not only do they showcase some of the best music in town but the food is very good and not a rip off Fantastic meaty crunchy wings. Grilled cheese with tomato was perfection Crunchy delicious sweet potato fries. Hit the spot burgers. Where else can you see Gregg Allman make a surprise appearance at his son Devon’s show?

We came here because our favorite band was playing here. We would follow them into an outhouse. The best thing about this place is the sound system. Everything else needs was awful. Unless you’re standing at the stage, you can see the band — they are practically on the floor. This would be a great set-up for a dinner club or comedy club. Unless you pay extra, don’t expect a seat or even a surface to put a drink down. Tables are positioned behind columns so you can’t see anything. Unless you’re the highroller we were moved out of the way for(we did actually pay extra for a table), don’t expect to be treated like a welcomed guest. Even though there is a strict no smoking policy, he blew his vape«smoke» at us all night. The only time we saw our waitress was when she would bring things we didn’t order, and added all of it to our bill! We tried to discuss it with her and she shrugged and walked away. The only service we received was when we left the table and went to the bar. The minute you from the table you paid for, someone else would move in and take your spot. Also had an awful experience with some«regulars» who stood behind us the entire time and made fun of all the«hippies» at the show. We will gladly never go back to «their club». It was overpriced, dirty, and poor service.

I’ve been here a few times. It is a very weird feeling place. When you enter you can’t tell if it is a Blues Club, or a Rave Bar, or a Blue Grass Joint, or a Comedy Club. I have still not figured out what the place is and the name doesn’t help the case. They have a stage, so they do live music, which I have personally witnessed once and was a 70s rock tribute band(not even one of my guesses on what this place is). I seem to stop here for a drink, when I am waiting to go to one of the restaurants in the area for dinner. Why do I keep coming here? I am hoping one day I can figure out what this place is supposed to be. So I guess curiosity brings me back.

This is a great quaint little place to listen to some great bands and have a few drink. It is located in boca by palmetto park road. The only problem is that is a little hard to find and parking is somewhat tough. The good news is that you can buy tickets online. Work a check out If you are in the area.

If you know me well you know what a big music fan I am. South Florida has many different music venues but not many in Boca, so it was nice to find a cool place close to home. I finally made it out to the Funky Biscuit to check out two local bands last night, Kill Mama and Rat’s Mouth. It’s a pretty big place and I love how open it is. Makes it easier to see the band. I arrived early and the bands were still setting up so I hung at the bar and waited for my friends to arrive. The bartender was super nice and chatted with me a bit since the place was pretty empty at the time. She was quick with the drinks too and didn’t skimp on the pours so that’s always much appreciated. They have a food menu but I didn’t eat anything on this visit. My friends did get sliders and chicken tenders with fries and everything looked delicious. I heard no complaints. The place was super clean, including the bathrooms. The waitress that helped us at our table when we moved away from the bar was really nice and quick with the drinks/food. Overall it was a great experience. The music was awesome, sound and acoustics were perfect, FB was a comfortable place to hangout and the drinks were reasonably priced. I even scored some free music and stickers from Kill Mama! Happy Girl! =)

This is a terrific spot to catch your favorite Jazz or Blues band. On any given night of the week, there are always some amazing talents filling the stage here. Located right off Federal Hwy and Mizner Blvd, this classy little Jazz club is always wowing the crowd. From the minute you walk through the doors you get that«cozy» nightclub feel. Check the calendar or get on their email list for their musician and concert line up and be prepared to either purchase tickets or pay a nominal cover charge. I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the house. Last night we were front row for Randi & the Wildfire band and the acoustics and lights were perfect. We’ve also gone for dinner and sat in the back and enjoyed ourselves just as much. Go early for happy hour and stay for dinner and enjoy some of the tasty menu items including soups, salads, wings, burgers, fish tacos or a down home Po Boy, straight out of N’Awlins. Bartenders and wait staff do an excellent job keeping your drinks filled while you enjoy the music and dance the night away!

Owner/manager is rude. They charge a cover but that only gets you in the door. Many open seats at the bar and tables but they want you to pay even more than the 20 dollar cover to sit down in a chair. So the whole night the bar chairs remained mostly empty because they were all reserved with little american express«Reserved» placards in front of every dam chair. BTW the band was not Elton John but some no name from east BF. The place had many many open seats all night but the Napoleon esque owner wanted to make you pay more… WTF! I almost pored my drink on him as i left the bar. What a poor business man!

The music is great but the general manager(at least that’s what he claimed to be) is not. After being asked to move twice because we were standing and dancing during a concert I started a conversation with the GM. He decided that even though my party of four had paid more than $ 20 a piece to attend with general admission(standing room only) tickets we were obstructing the view of people in the back of the bar everywhere except for a small part of the floor next to the bathroom and behind a pole. To his credit he offered us seats that he claimed were sold for $ 40 a seat but we did not want to sit down for the concert! After explaining my position I was met with insults(you must have been on the debate team) and told«I hope I never see you again.» Hopefully the owner reads this and decides it’s time for a new GM. In case you are reading I attended on 7÷25÷15 for the John Cleary concert.

Do not pay for tables on the main floor of this club. You’ll pay more than the Standing Room Only(SRO) crowd, who will promptly stand in front of you on the«dance» floor where they do precious little dancing, and block your view. I could hear The New Orleans Suspects, but see them from my ringside table? Nah. That sucks, especially when I paid more to see the show than our friends with a beer and their rear ends in my face. Biscuit staff do nothing about this because its«a dance show.» Didn’t see that disclaimer on the floor seating when I bought my table or I would have bought SROs and saved the jack. There are tables in the back on a riser where you can see over the heads of the SROs… sort of, and they’re in the bleachers for distance. No TV screens here either to compensate for the view being sucked up by taking in 120 extra paid drinks with feet. Also, DONOTBELIEVE the 8pm start time. That’s just to get you in to eat and drink before the madness starts. I’ve seen two shows there(probably my last two) and one got off at 9:30p and the other started at 8:30BUT it had an opening act that wasn’t good for more than 30 minutes that he let play on for almost 90 minutes. By the time the main act came on it was 10:30, and we had arrived at 7:30 to get seated and eat by the 8:00p show start. The«regulars» know this and didn’t drift in until 9:00 — 9:30. Most clubs would have had two shows in the time that this owner took to do one badly. They have no security there either. Drunken soccer mamma Selfie Sally wants to take a snap with the saxophonist while he’s on stage DURINGTHESET! She walks right up, shoves herself next to him, and no one on staff at the Biscuit does squat. So people left because the seats that they paid more for were completely useless to see the act that they came to see. We left before the show ended, even though we were moved to some bar stools where I could at least glimpse the talent on stage for a bit. There are solutions to this: Do an 8&10 show. Make the early show a dinner show so they can sell food, which is really quite good for a limited menu, at TABLES and have no dance floor, or a floor in the back away from the stage(you can hear really well in there) and then for late show remove the tables and have an all-dance show where they clear the floor and let everyone stand or dance. Raise the stage or lower the«dance floor» to get the SRO rabble to clear the view for those who paid prime dollar for their tables. Put some TV screens up on the ceiling(and turn some of the monitors over the bars) on to a live feed cam so people can see the act being obliterated by the SRO cheapies who choke off the view. Parking is a disaster. No valet, and the only difference between HELL and this lot on a weekend is that in Hell there is always a spot waiting for you. We have so view good venues, and so few clubs willing to pay money for quality live music entertainment. This should not be a two star club, but it’s run like the amateur hour. Not only that, but I would not want to be talent on the stage with the level of control that this club exercises. The only thing keeping it relatively less crazy is most of the people coming here are 50+ and just mildly obnoxious(e.g. Selfie Sally on stage) and move too slowly to be really a problem. To call this«The première music venue» is a joke. The owner treats his regulars well, true. Unfortunately anyone new to the club he’s alienating which ultimately will be his downfall because you can’t grow a business when the newbies have to learn by «hard knocks» that they are going to be there three hours before the show starts and that their table has NOVALUE at all. Sorry regulars.

Well, first let me say they have GREAT bands! You cant go wrong with any band they have. The place itself is great looking too. However the only true downside ‘lately’ is the FOOD.:( The food WAS always really good there. But the last few times were not! at all. The pizza was cold and the cheese not melted. This past week we have chicken fingers and they were… tough and just not good. They used to have baby lambs chops on the menu that were amazing, but no longer. Maybe they’ve got a new chef? not sure, but the bad food makes you reconsider. Although they do have a great bar, well stocked and an awesome staff, the staff is very friendly. But the food is definetly suffering. But regardless, i think they do an amazing job there, overall. Super intimate, up clsoe to some of the best bands with an amazing sound system. 5 stars, but hoping the food catches up again!

Went last night to see Jaquiem Joyner concert. There were 4 of us — 2 couples — and we all loved the experience! I’ve been there a bunch of times and I’m always impressed at what a great venue Al has created in downtown Boca: the sound system is very high-end and clean — never any distortion at all. It’s an intimate little concert venue that’s almost like having drinks and snacks in a recording studio! People may not realize how special that is to have something like this in your town or how unusual it is. The reality of it is there simply are not a lot of seats inside but that’s what makes it special! And I would think it’s very tough to make it a going business with Boca rent he must be paying, so people should be a little more chill if the seating gets a little mixed up or it gets crowded… The food certainly isn’t haute cuisine but it’s just fine: $ 8 for a big order of really tasty chicken fingers with fries? $ 12 for a good burger? C’mon it’s a great value if u realize it’s not Madison Square Garden — it’s a funky little informal neighborhood music club to just go, relax and enjoy some great live music!
