Father and Son Moving and Storage

This company is a SCAM!
–Owner was rude and condescending when confirming the move the day before. Wanted to start a 2 room job at 8am when an elevator was not available until noon. Then proceeded to tell us to «rent your own truck and do it ourselves» when we asked them to arrive at 10am.
–Did not disclose hidden fees when giving an initial estimate. ($ 89 extra fee for travel and gas plus an undisclosed 22% fuel fee on top of the $ 89). Overcharged hours and made us pay up front or else they would not unload our belongings.
–workers that showed up for the job were very unprofessional. (Broke glassware, scratched walls and furniture). When it came time for them to leave, they forgot to unload a box and said «they’d only come back because me and my mother were «hot». Specifically asked for a tip on top of the tip we gave them.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst experience I’ve encountered moving. Go with 2 men and a truck.

IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD! I wish I had read other people’s reviews before hiring this company! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY… BIGGEST SCAMMERS IN SOUTH FLORIDA! YOU WILL REGRET IT AND HAVE THE WORST DAY EVER! The day started off with them arriving at 6:50 am when my time was 7:30/ 8:00. The day before JOE (manager) called me to ask if they could move my time slot to after 12:00 bc they had another job come in at 10:30 but I couldn’t so I know they arrived early because they wanted to get to another job. I had just gotten out of the shower bc I wasn’t expecting them until after 7:30 and they rang my doorbell off for 10 minutes until I let them in. They proceeded to tell me about the «infamous» 22% surcharge which wasn’t told to me on the phone and when I went to call the office the driver «Kevin» said «who are you gonna believe, me or the guy on the phone?» The «guy on the phone» (Joe) worked out a «flat rate» with me which at the moment I thought was fair but later regret! The movers had the worst attitudes ever the whole time even thought I was trying to be nice and make the mood light. I offered them food and water and to buy them lunch but it didn’t help. They complained about everything from the amount of stuff I had to how far my storage unit was from the door (not my problem and all was told to JOE when I booked them). The clincher was when we got to the storage unit, I had go to the bank to get more money to pay them the extra that I wasn’t expecting (bc they only take cash or they will hold your stuff on their truck). «KEVIN» insisted that I pay him before I leave even though I explained I had to get the additional $ 50 so I gave him $ 400 and they had my stuff in their truck. I was the one taking a risk but when I returned with the rest of the money «KEVIN’ started screaming at me that I refused to pay them before they unloaded and they left a bunch of my stuff in the middle of the hallway. They didn’t pack the storage unit correctly making me have to get another unit. I had asked them to put the big furniture in first so hat if there were little things left over I could take them with me in my car, but they left my king size mattress, a desk and dining room table out which I couldn’t take with me. I called «JOE» and at first he was on my side and said they should have followed my instructions. «KEVIN» then called him and after he talked to «JOE» «JOE» changed his attitude and turned on me saying that because I disputed the 22% surcharge in the beginning I set «KEVIN» off in a bad mood and that’s why they gave me the horrible service and I caused it. In escence he was saying that I deserved bad service because I complained. I had the right to complain because I was being hussled and I knew it. The movers then left with my stuff sitting in the hallway and me and the girl who worked in the office had to put it into the 2^nd unit ourselves. Which, btw she was the most helpful wonderful person and silver lining in this black cloud and thankfully a witness to the horrifying treatment I received from these guys. I conclude that «JOE» and these movers are in this scam together and they took off on me because I had paid them up front which they harrassed me until I did, and when JOE learned that they were paid he told them to leave and go to their next job. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND MOST DISGUSTING SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN FROM ANY COMPANY EVER!!! NOT JUST MOVING COMPANIES BUT ANY COMPANY I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE AND I AM 45!!! I don’t usually complain, in fact this is the first bad review I have ever written because I have high tolerance for people and human error but these guys are hustlers and scammers and I felt I had to warn others DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

This company is a complete scam! Do not use this company. After picking up our items we arrived at our new home, truck got lost and went to the wrong address first, the driver requested payment which did not match the quote I was given. On top of charging $ 42 for tape, $ 7 per roll, which I was never informed of, they tried charging a 22% diesel surcharge. I was told the surcharge would be 12% when booking the reservation. The driver put me on the phone with Joe, evidently the owner who is the son of the founder, and after not allowing me to complete any sentences, Joe hung up on me. The driver then informed me they would not resume work until they are paid and that he called Joe back who refused to talk with me. I ended up having to block the truck with my car to ensure they didn’t leave with me stuff.
Please DO NOT USE this company and be sure to fully investigate all of the costs associated with your move when using any other company.

Worst moving company ever!!! They tell you one price and then nail you with ridiculous fees and bs about it taking longer!!! Don’t use this company they are scammers!!!

Horrible! Used this company once and only once! Owner told me one price then when I called back the manager told me a different price! They were 4 hrs late and the excuse was they forgot to tell dispatch and that they could send a crew at close to 8 pm or I would have to wait for another 3 days!
