Originally from New York, it’s not easy finding good pizza in FL… But the pizza here is AWESOME!!! I literally just finished my sausage pizza and said, «This deserves a rave review!» Thank you Dominic’s Pizza!!!

I went here for dinner a few weeks ago the food is ok the only thing is the owner is a maniac. I was with my family including toddlers and the owner was yelling profanity at the hostess. I’ve never seen anyone act like this in front of customers especially the owner!!! This is truly embarrassing of the owner I will never go back here, ever. The way he was treating all the lady employees there made me and my whole family very uncomfortable. Learn how to talk to humans like people not animals, disgusting!

Visited last night and enjoyed our(3) meals. We were greeted at about 6:45 by a very friendly hostess who seated us immediately in a booth. She told us we were fortunate to get a table as they had just emptied out from a wave of diners that had caused some to have a wait of up to 45 minutes. Our order was taken quickly and we were served foccacia to nibble on with our house wine($ 6.75 glass) and Peroni beer($ 4.50) as waited. All enjoyed their choices: spaghetti & meatball, sausage pizzaiola and a thin crusted medium pizza margherita. Portions are typical American sized(way too much pasta). Would have nice to have a single serving size pizza but the medium yielded some take home for lunch today. The other entrees enough for a dinner. We all consider this a place worth a return visit, friendly service and good hearty Italian food. For gourmet meals look elsewhere.

I’ve been back several times since my first review I don’t think this restaurant is as good as it used to be. When I went there a little over a month ago I thought it was just an off night. I went back with Clyde and a friend who loves this place. We left feeling disappointed. We went for dinner a few days ago. When we got there at about 7 pm on a Thursday night there were several people waiting for a table. The hostess told us it would be about a 20 minute wait. The benches in front of the restaurant were full. Since we were parked right in front we decided to wait in the car. The hostess called our name a few minutes later. Our table wasn’t ready but she said we had to wait in front of the restaurant, not in our car. It didn’t make sense to me, but we got out of the car and waited in front of the restaurant. About 15 minutes later our table was ready. I love pasta, my favorite being spaghetti. A few days ago I reviewed a different Italian restaurant and wrote about the pasta being over cooked. I wrote that I should have ordered my pasta al dente since I like pasta that is firm. At Dominic’s I ordered spaghetti bolognese al dente. My friend ordered her pasta al dente also. We both got pasta that was not cooked long enough. We didn’t want to complain since we had asked for al dente, but this was not good. It should have been obvious to the cook that the pasta needed to be cooked longer. My pasta also didn’t have enough sauce. Our server was very nice and brought more sauce. My friend and I both ended up taking home most of our pasta. Maybe it will cook more when it’s reheated. My spaghetti came with a choice of soup or salad. I got pasta fagioli which was delicious. It was loaded with beans and macaroni. We also got garlic rolls and another bread that was served cold with onions and tomato. I ate the garlic rolls which were very good. I didn’t try the other bread. Clyde had a shrimp dish that he liked. He didn’t complain about his side order of spaghetti but just looking at it,(see the picture he posted), I could tell it was undercooked also. I had been wanting to try their pizza. I had a slice of the plain cheese pizza. It was just okay. There was nothing wrong with it, but nothing great either. I’ll probably go back some time, I just won’t order anything al dente. Since a lot of people seem to like this place I’d like to give it another chance.

I revisited Dominic’s and had a really great meal. I had the special which was Shrimp Julienne. The meal began with very tasty Pasta Fagioli. It was seasoned perfectly and piping hot! I ordered a Bud LIght which arrived in an ice cold glass, a delicious accompaniment to my main course Shrimp Julienne. The shrimp was grilled nicely with various julienned vegetables and garlic. I loved it! It came with a side order of pasta. I ordered the pasta al dente. I’m so used to getting awfully overcooked pasta at other Italian restaurants. This Fettuccine was slightly too al dente, but definitely acceptable. I enjoyed the meal greatly. The shrimp and vegetables were fabulous. Everything was just as I ordered it. Dominic’s is a wonderful Italian restaurant. I’m so glad I ordered the shrimp, it was perfect. I was treated very nicely by the staff and had a most enjoyable evening!

A close friend saw the reviews and I read them so we decided to pickup dinner their last night. Their only saving grace is I took the food home and that I could not refuse it at the table. Chick Scapriella, came is some lemon butter concoction, and the potato were steak fries. Disgusting dinner. The second dish, whole wheat pasta with some mixture, that looked like dog food, terrible. The third dish, penne with marinara was edible. Garlic Rolls were not even toasty. All in all, not sure how anyone could give this place 4 – 5 stars. Lastly, most times you wake up and cant wait to each the left overs. We through them out, didnt even want to give them to our dog. Sorry Dominic’s, will never come back.

Dominics is our go-to pizza/Italian delivery. There are two things that I get every time, the rigatoni alla vodka and an eggplant parmesean hero(sub, whatever you call it). I’m originally from NY and would like to think I have a solid concept of what«good» casual Italian is, and Dominics fits the bill. We’ve order sautéed broccoli and spinach sides before, vegetables are plentiful and fresh. The only reason why they don’t get 5 stars is because sometimes it’s inconsistent. Specifically, I think the guy in the kitchen on Sundays isn’t up to par. The vodka sauce tastes a little different and has a thinner consistency and sometime the eggplant parm hero isn’t left in the oven long enough and the bread is doughy with zero brown on the mozzarella. Overall though, they still get my business, and when the top brass are in the kitchen, the food is the best.

We are from California and in town to see family. We were driving from Tampa to Lake Worth and needed to stop for dinner. We ended up at Dominic’s and had such a great experience that I had to write a review! The service was exceptional! Our server Emilio was friendly and helpful. He gave us great food suggestions, and even gave us directions to our next destination. The manager/owner(?) Tony was also very friendly and even sent out a few small appetizers for us to try! The place is clean and cozy and the entire staff was awesome! The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We had the Dominic’s Special– Pepperoni Sausage Peppers Onions and Mushrooms — delicious!

Everything was great, all the way down to the croutons(seriously, best croutons I’ve ever had). Our server Emilio was amazing, even helped us with directions to somewhere we were going after dinner. Tony was also awesome, he genuinely wanted to make sure everything was good. We would definitely frequent Dominic’s if we lived in the area.

This is the first location my family and I visited after settling into our hotel. We were referred here by someone at the hotel and were looking forward to enjoying a yummy lunch/dinner. Upon entering this establishment we could feel that this would not be a good fit. The hostess was short with us and pretty rude as she directed my family and I to pick an empty table and tossed us our menus. We tried to chalk it up to her having a bad day and proceeded to take a seat in a booth. Upon sitting we asked our waiter for a booster seat after he tossed the straws on our table and that too seemed like a difficult task for him. The attitude of the staff was negative enough to make my family and I walk out of this establishment. I would never return nor would I recommend this place.

Tried this amazing restaurant for the first time and loved it. A friend and I shared the Gorgonzola Salad, Stuffed Artichoke, and Calzone. Everything was amazing from the service to the food. Will be going here again this month

Dominic’s is awesome. Huge portions of tasty food. Each sandwich/salad only runs about 8 bucks and is enough for 2 people.

Good, consistent Italian food in Boca(off of Glades Rd. and FL Tpke.)! I have been going to Dominic’s for years and have always enjoyed my meal! Good thin crust pizza, fresh pasta, baked clams, delicious soups and large variety of chicken/shrimp dishes in a casual environment at reasonable prices. Tip: Make sure to get there early, as they fill up quickly, especially if you want to sit in one of the booths that run along the sides of the restaurant.

This place is amazing. Really good, hearty, Italian food. And they give you a ton. My husband and I drove by as we get off the Turnpike near here and decided to do takeout. The placeakes everything by hand — they were making the garlic rolls when we stopped in. We ordered lasagna, the tortellini Alla romano — a cheese tortellini in a cream sauce with peas and more. — and an order of meatballs. Our eyes were bigger than our stomaches — this literally fed us Sunday to Thursday. The lasagna was great — cheese with lots of yummy meat. The only thing was the sauce was a bit watery, but that being said, I think tomato sauce made from real tomatoes can have a tendency to be like that, so I am assuming this is the case. Might just be my preference too. Anyhow, I would come back for the lasagna. The speciality tortellini was amazing! The sauce was tasty and well seasoned, and there was lots of the little extras like peas and meat. The meatballs were also good — soft and flavorful. The garlic rolls were really garlicky and buttery — a bit much for me but still good. Definitely a great place for family style Italian.
