Everything I’ve had from the bakery has been excellent. I’ll get a sandwich one of these days. Prices are excellent too and they’re all very nice even though I only speak English. Get the cheese bread with chicken

Besides the large amount of baked goods, they also have sandwiches, savory dishes, smoothies and acai bowls. I always get the acai bowl here. They put sliced bananas, strawberries, granola and honey which ties the sweet and tart together nicely. I usually buy the tub of acai here so I can make the acai bowls at home with different fruit combinations. The customers are all Brazilian. The staff is friendly answering any questions I have about the items.

My B.F. and I went here after reading the Unilocal reviews. Wow! We took an order to go because there are too many yummy choices to eat in one sitting. We got a Brasil Special sandwich, small chicken and cheese coxhina, chicken empanada, a custard and coconut stuffed bread, and what looks like a chocolate eclaire. Everything was delicious and the prices are really good. Our bill was under $ 16.00. The place was packed, but they have ordering and paying separate, so everything runs really smoothly. There are many sandwich selections as well as cakes and a huge assortment of sweets. I was already picking out what I can eat the next time I go.

Stopped in for breakfast the other day as I was in the mood for something different. Wasn’t sure what to expect walking in but based off the reviews and rating, I knew it couldn’t be bad. It’s a bakery type layout with a bunch of tables to eat but no table service, so you order at the counter with one person and pay with another. They handed me a buzzer for when my food was ready, but never actually used it and opted for shouting out the name to come grab your food, which I missed the first couple times because I was waiting for the buzzer to go off. As far as the food. It really wasn’t bad, wasn’t anything exceptional, but was good and edible. What did stand out was their shakes. I tired their pineapple paradise which was pineapple juice and condensed milk, which I enjoyed a lot.

This place blows the Pompano Brazilian bakeries out of the water. Casa Do Pão is perfect, offering salads, sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, cakes, pastries, breads and much more. The coxinha, empanadas, pão de queijo, empadão de frango, pudim de leite — so delish! Everything can be eaten in or to-go. They have refrigerators with take and bake meals, perfect for dropping by after work. All the menus are in English, so you don’t feel alienated if you don’t speak Portuguese. The cakes look phenomenal, decorated meticulously with fruit, chocolate, dulce de leche, etc. They also carry a few Brazilian products,(particularly easter eggs because it’s that time of year). Overall this is a great hit! I will definitely be frequenting here, although its a bit far from me, it’s totally worth the drive.

I previously came across a Unilocal review for a desert here and we came in not knowing what to expect, being non Brazilian. We walked in to the café with nothing but a warm welcome and it was clean and friendly and yummy. We had a Coxinha it was amazing and fresh. The chicken inside was shredded with cream cheese . Melts in your mouth! Then we shared a egg, steak, ham, cheese, lettuce, and potato sticks on a grilled bun. Wow it’s a mans kind of sandwich. Then we had the creamiest smoothest Flan I’ve ever had. My daughter ate everything and she’s usually so picky. Wow.

Very authentic, stick to the roots kind of place. Sandwiches are out of the world and the dessert was rich, flavorful, heavy(in a great way). Very straight forward no frills… sandwiches? Great. Desert? Oh my god. Shakes? Wow. Can’t go wrong, come give it a shot if you haven’t, you’ll be wondering why you never came before.

I have to say I like the salgadinhos. I’m a Brazilian Jersey American so I think I know a little about this type of establishment. The reason it only gets 3 stars is because I was standing in front of one of the servers and was never greeted never made eye contact with me. I actually had to ask for help. The server that was not too far from her but heard me was accommodating. I really have had far better service than this before there and have been there plenty of times. When do you work somewhere and give someone the cold shoulder and not even say one moment?

Great place. The coffee was really good, short intense espresso. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and there were only Brazilians(in my book that’s great). We tried one of the bolos(coconut custard cake), it was delicious. Will definately go back for more coffee and sweets.

Amazing food. The cookies are actually thick pudding that’s coated so you can pick them up, the cornbread is actually corn pudding cake, and the flan, OMG! Best I’ve ever had and I grew up in South Florida. Incredibly indulgent, but go ahead, you deserve it;)

I occasionally stop by the DD on the way to office, always meaning to walk in here, finally did today and so glad I did. you know it’s legit when everyone in there is native to their homeland of brasil. the lady at counter was very friendly in helping me pick out goodies for the office, beef and chicken coxihnas and risoles and an acai smoothie to go. around $ 20 total. fair and ridiculously delicious to go. i’d be back with some of my girlfriends or boyfriends who are from the homeland to be the legit judges.

This place gets a solid 5-stars. I’ve been to several other Brazilian bakeries, and frankly this one rises to the top. Is everything here perfectly made? No. But they have the largest in variety, and is by far the most popular Brazilian bakery in South Florida — or even, dare I say it — the entire State of Florida. It’s definitely the meeting place for Brazilians in the area. I caught a Brazilian funk singer swooping in and out here, eating some of the bakery’s coxinhas, rissoles, sandwiches, smoothies, and sweets(popular with Brazilians, and not so much with Americans). My personal favorites here are the coxinhas and some of the sweets. While the rissoles are not bad, I much prefer the ones on Sample just east of I-95. And I’m happy to report that this place has plans to open a location in Miami-Dade county sometime soon.

This place is awesome! It’s the closest I can get taste bakery like Brazil! I always get excited to go there!!! I love their pastel the dough is amazing when they fry it it’s perfect and crispy!!! The cochinhas are amazing too. I also love that they have cuscus. When I go to Rio it’s one of the things I look forward on eating it!!! So when I found out Casa de Pao had it. I was so happy! The only down fault is that is located on a really busy plaza so you kind have to fight for spots. However people come and go a lot so it’s not that difficult to find spots. What I love about it is that they have a lot of people working so the food comes out real quick. I hear their juices are amazing so I definitely will try next time and will let you know

Small place FULL of customers!!! Brazilian customers to be exact so you know it’s good! We started with a chicken empanada, a cheese empanada, a beef empanada and some creamy coconut bread as our app. The empanadas were delicious as was the sweet coconut bread. She ordered the bacon egg and cheese on French bread and a passion fruit to drink. I had a steak, egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich. The place had so much to choose from. It was excellent. We’ll definitely be back to try other stuff on the menu.

Over the last 4 to 5 months I’ve been patronizing Brazilian bakeries and grocery stores. I found that most Brazil oriented businesses are located in the west Boca Raton area and on Sample road east or west of the I-95. Of all the Brazilian places I’ve tried, Casa do Pao emerged as my favorite. Casa do Pao is located in a plaza dominated by Brazil oriented businesses. Inside the bakery are two elevated TV’s streaming Brazilian shows, news and sports, there are also about 6 or 7 dine-in tables. But I have a confession, I haven’t really been patronizing Brazilian bakeries and grocery stores for months just because of their exotic food and culture. The real reason is, ever since I saw the Ms. Bum Bum 2014 competition on youtube, I’ve become obsessed with Brazil.
Since then I’ve been trying to catch a glimpse of one of those cherub like nectar drops at Casa do Pao, but Brazil’s most precious natural resource has thus far eluded me. Other than the desire for my eyes to grace upon a woman reminiscent of the miss Bum Bum contestants, I’m quite fond of the pastries & the custom juices at Casa do Pao. I particularly love the Caju juice. They have many different types of sweets such as cakes, flans, custards, mousses and truffles. Personally I tend to avoid the sweets here. Why do I say that, because I tried a couple of the cake slices, and they are analogous of WMD’s(weapon’s of mass destruction). Its like each cake slice was made with 3 cups of sugar, one bite and you’re on insulin shots for the rest of your life buddy. Within the heated food display cases are many kinds of chicken, beef and pork based pastries, my favorite being the chicken and cheese. The menu lists many hot sandwiches, fried & baked empanada’s, salads, natural juices and smoothies. They also have frozen lasagna’s, traditional Brazilian pasta’s and heavy meat dishes in their freezers. They also bake their own breads. NOTES — some of the workers speak English, but not to fluent. — the line to order starts around the left side of the bakery. — when you order they will give you a plastic red square with a number, you take it to the cashier to pay. — prices are very reasonable, exp. sandwiches are between $ 4 and $ 6 dollars. TIP * take advantage of the the Brazilian grocery store next door, they have very reasonably priced imported Brazilian coconut water.

Our fav Brazilian Sandwich and more store in the world! We had the # 34&8 sandwich with the chicken on a stick! A M A Z I N G!!! The only good news for u ladies is the rumor on the street is that the good looking sitting guy at the cash register aka Philipe was so depressed after Brazil’s loss is smiling again! You have to come over and ask him why!

They have an impressive selection of traditional Brazilian pastries, sweets and cakes. Great for birthday parties etc. What I wasn’t impressed with were the layers of cake the stuff in between the filling. It tasted kind of artificial. But the fillings, and the individual pastries(both savory and sweet) were very very good. For me, this appears to be by far the best Brazilian store/eatery in the south Florida area. Besides freshly prepared foods, they have frozen meals to go, tapioca flour by the bucket full, lots of Brazilian candy and chocolates, and did I mention super friendly staff? No outdoor seating but inside plenty of tables, a TV to watch a Brazilian football match or just to hang out while enjoying a pastry. They make super delicious smoothies as well. Highly recommended.

So I found Casa Do Pao from reading friend’s Unilocal reviews, and must give credit to TONY P., whose review was both informative and hysterical, and for BLUE A.‘s and GLENN G.‘s educational review. I still smile over Tony P’s comment about«carrying a small Brazilian in his pocket» :) I surprised my partner and did not tell him where we were going(he is like a kid, and loves going to new places — anyplace —), it was July 4 around 11am, and Brazil was playing in the FIFA game. Arrived and found a parking spot, and after seeing the expression on his face, I said«Don’t worry about the run-down strip center and the exterior signage, it has gotten RAVE reviews on Unilocal from folks I trust, so let’s check it out.». We walk in, and enter another world — a slice of Brazil –[yeah, it’s southwest Boca, but we are clearly«someplace else”]. After looking around, I’m apparently the only non-Latino there, and the only LANGUAGE we hear is Portuguese. I’m fine with that, as I have my bi-lingual Spanish speaking partner with me, and figure the staff behind the counter also speak Spanish. WRONG! But as other reviewers have remarked, all the staff are incredibly friendly, attempt to speak a little English, and I delegated the food ordering to Den, knowing he would figure it out. After securing a table — a challenge– it was packed — I sat and people watched a bit, which I love to do. Young families, multi-generational families, infants, grandparent’s, guys in bathing suits getting bread and coffee on the way to the beach, and 95% of them wearing Brazil shirts from the FIFA games. ITWAS A GREATSHOW. I had an experience, which for me, epitomized the spirit of this bakery/food shop. I was searching for milk for the coffee($ 1.00 — are they for real?), and a middle aged guy realized what I was looking for, got up from his table, and walked over to me, and said in heavily accented English«they need to make more hot leche, I’ll tell them behind the counter», and he proceeded to do just that! While I waiting for the warm leche to appear, 2 other patrons passed by me and made remarks about getting me some milk, and walked to the counter to explain the need. Basically, there was a WARMTHTOTHECROWDANDTHESTAFF which added to my experience, which will be a reason to return, in addition to the food. As to the FOOD, the coffee was fresh and strong(with that long-awaited warm milk), the fried and baked EMPANADAS were all WARM, with lots of stuffing, and we tried chicken, beef, bacalhau, cheese, and potato. Not being over stuffed, we then went for one of their SANDWICHES, the #2, which was called the SPECIALBRAZIL, and at $ 5.79, was incredible — CHICKEN, BACONWITHHAM, EGG, CHEESE, LETTUCETOMATOANDMAYO. By the way, the Sandwiches are described in English on a large sign behind the counter. So, if you want a place which has authentic and tasty inexpensive food, and has no issue dealing with patrons who don’t speak Portuguese, and you don’t mind a crowded enthusiastic environment, get yourself over there!
