Bellini

Exceptionally well-​made furniture, gorgeous accessories, great place for gifts and outstanding customer service. This place is a total gem!

I love this store and the people who work there. I first got to meet them shortly after I moved to Boca Raton from Washington, DC. I had purchased my daughter’s furniture at the Bellini in Rockville, MD and the movers refused to put my daughter’s crib back together. The Boca store was so warm and welcoming to me and sent a technician right out to us. Since then I have purchased many additional furniture items and accessories for my daughter and a full room of furniture for my son. The Bellini furniture lasts forever, is incredibly stylish and sturdy and is a good value for the money. And if the Bellini brand is not your thing, they carry many other brands to suit a variety of tastes. The prices are competitive with other local retailers and high-​end online boutiques and the stuff is just so darn cute! The customer service is wonderful and the owner even came to my house to help me design my rooms. If you are looking for a high end, full service boutique, this is the only place to go!

They have quality brands, but don’t expect follow-​up support if you buy baby furniture from Bellini in Boca Raton. Twice I called to ask what to do about a problem with furniture we bought there. They called back once to say they would call the manufacture to find out a solution, but weeks have gone by with no call back. I guess they are too busy focused on selling new furniture to bother with servicing people who have bought from them.

I’m torn about this review. Their selection is incredible and their baby items are so unbelievable cute; however, their service sucks and their prices seem exorbitant to me.
I went to Bellini because my cousin is having a little girl and setup her registry here. I don’t know if we hit the tail-​end of the registry (there were 7 items left) and everyone else had picked the more reasonable and seemingly less obnoxious items… or if the whole store is really just overpriced. ($ 299 for a wood hamper with a lid… literally a wood box, painted pink, with a lid that has a small wooden design carved out)…
We walked in and weren’t greeted. We walked to the back to find someone who can help us find my cousin’s registry and a lady rushed past us and called out for someone else to help us. This individual would continue to be rude, talk to us as she walked away and overhear and chime into our conversations for the duration of our stay.
The girl we were sent to was moderately helpful. She found the guestlist (a printed piece of paper, partially handwritten, in different fonts, sizes and colors, with highlighting) — not exactly impressive. We had to ask her to show us pictures of what each item was as they weren’t in the store and would need to be ordered. She also mentioned many times that my cousin’s preferred gift was a $ 185 pre-​customized blanket. She was very pushy about this item, and given that its $ 185 and not $ 50, it came off as rude and overbearing.
After we finally chose what we wanted to purchase, there was definitely a sigh of disapproval that we chose to purchase something off-​registry. Granted, this could largely be attributed to the fact that my cousin was very specific about her registry and will most likely return what we purchased anyhow… and this lady knew that, but still it was rude and unnecessary.
Another lady helped us pick out another gift for a baby who was recently born and the two of them wrapped up our purchases. I must admit that they do an incredible job wrapping and making everything nice and pretty.
Overall, I wasn’t thoroughly impressed with Bellini. I know it’s Boca and people here can be pretentious and snobby, over-​the-​top and demanding, but not every single person is… and to treat everyone like they should be paying hundreds of dollars on wooden book-​ends, hampers and organizers, is a little absurd to me.
The products are unbelievable cute and well-​made. The selection is endless. I just wish the customer service reflected the high-​quality store they present themselves to be.
