All County Contractors

This was actually the first company I contacted when looking to have a bathroom door widened for wheelchair access. Very up front, I was told that they generally did not do small jobs but since I was close by, the partners would talk and see if they could «squeeze» it in. I think they may have had heart due to the circumstances that we had moved back to FL to be closer to our daughter and family and our daughter is a paraplegic who could not get through the apartment bathroom doors in her wheelchair. Unfortunately, we were not aware of that seeing the sample or we probably would have moved elsewhere; however, the complex gave us permission to fix it on our own.
An appointment was made for Saturday, April 26^th and John & Vince showed up promptly as promised. They were very professional plus we all had a lot in common being from the northeast originally. My instincts kicked in right away from the first phone call and even though my husband wanted 3 estimates, by the time they left we had signed the contract. Work was scheduled for Tuesday, April 29^th at 8:30. On Sunday, we got a call that they could start Monday, April 28^th.
Their guy showed up 8:20 AM Monday morning and set right to work. Although a noisy job at times, he was totally unobtrusive and professional. At one point, the just cleaned bathroom was a total dust mess; however, by the time he left, you would not have known that the walls were cut through and electric moved. We were told it would take 2 days and it only took him one day. Both my husband and I work from home and there was very little interruption to our work.
The job was neat and delivered as promised. I highly recommend this All County Contractors. I have been smiling since yesterday knowing that there will not be any obstacles having my daughter and her family spending time here with us.
