The Valley Marketplace

Aunt Martha’s donuts and the pizza place are my two favorites. The donuts are delicious, but pretty sweet. Tons of flavor combinations. You can watch them make everything fresh. We tried apple fritters, Oreo, coconut, maple and cinnamon sugar.
The pizza place has really interesting combinations as well as regular toppings. I had baked potato yesterday and it was delicious. They also had a breakfast one that sounded awesome.

This place is great. It is an Amish market with about twenty stands that offer a wide variety items including meats, vegetables, bulk food items, baked goods, furniture, and home décor items. The quality of what is offered at the stands is excellent. There is an Amish restaurant onsite which I have not tried yet, but the food does look and smell great. One stand in particular that stands out is Aunt Martha’s Donuts. These are by far the best donuts I have ever had, and they cost less than the stale donuts you get at Dunkin Donuts. The merchants are all friendly and helpful, the only problem is that they are only open Thurs. — Sat.

Love the Valley Marketplace! Great prices, great quality foods and other Amish items! I’m not used to having access to Amish meats so perhaps I just don’t know any better but I’ve been really impressed with the quality.
I bought ground chuck that was as lean as what I am used to for ground round and the ground round was even better! I usually rinse my meat after browning for my chili and found the ground round has so little fat it was wasn’t necessary. Italian sausage made with real casing, not the manufactured stuff, yum!
Lots of baked good here — haven’t tried them yet but they all looked and smelled wonderful!
The only downside that I have seen is I tried to go to the restaurant here on a Friday night and was dining alone. For some reason the waitresses completely ignored me even when I tried to flag them down. Not sure if they thought I was waiting for someone or what but I ended up leaving and going to one of the stands instead. I’m chalking it up as a onetime fluke and will try again another time.
