As you may or may not know Scotties is a resturant that is situated right off the interstate by the massive DMV across the street. This delightful place has an older lady right up front politely barking orders or just taking care of business. If I had to bet I would guess it’s the owners mother or mother-​in law. But I like it in any case, another thing I like is that the business offers discounts to law enforcement and the fire department. That is why you must arrive early to eat or you may be have to wait quite sometime. Not too many places to eat or choose from out here so I take it that it’s a local favorite to the people that live and work close by Scotties’s. Now every sub or sandwich I have had was huge even if you order the small portion. They come toasted with dipping sauces, I love sauces okay. Some of the other patrons eating here must not have jobs as the spaghetti plate with large meatball is a gut buster, I got tired just looking at it. So if your ever out here get here early and get yourself a nice sub with dipping sauce you won’t be disappointed.

Been here many, many times and really like it. We love our server, Julie– she’s great! Sweet tea is tasty and the pizza buffet on Wednesdays for lunch is always a big hit. The chicken tenders are delicious, as is the chicken philly sandwich (ask them to add mushrooms and put it on a wrap instead of a bun!) unfortunately I will not be eating their Greek salad anymore due to my stomach not agreeing with it on more than one occasion. But others have eaten it and been fine. Otherwise, it’s a great lunch spot that I have recommended to several people.

Delicious food with a very wide variety. I’ve never had anything there that wasn’t excellent. Highly recommended.

Christina was so sweet! I loved how she knew a lot of the customers, and could ask how they were doing. The food was INCREDIBLE. Although it was fried, the batter was thin yet crispy and perfectly fried-​making the meal not seem too heavy. Everything we ordered was delicious-​fried pickles, corn nuts, pork chop sandwich, and fried catfish. All super fresh and tasty, we hope to stop back!

Traveling to the area for the holiday and stopped here for a quick bite late Weds evening — recommended by local family members. We were a little skeptical when we 1^st pulled up and saw it was attached to a gas station but decided to take the chance (also had been driving for 5 hours and were hungry and thirsty). This place is nothing fancy — the décor is basic. But the food was very good and we were pleasantly surprised. Our group of 4 had a pizza, a meatball sub, the Philly chicken sub and a burger. Everyone thought the food was very good. The small size subs are 8″ and it was plenty of food along with the fries. The service was quick and friendly. Thank you Scotties! Would definitely come back when we are back in this area of SC.

One word. Amazing! Food selection in variety, taste and quality-​excellent! Prices are affordable and big portions too! The owner is sooo sweet! Feels like you are visiting Mayberry! So, don’t be fooled by the fact it’s next to a gas station, go on on! You won’t be disappointed!

Second time for lunch. This is a great place to stop for lunch if heading south from Roanoke to FL.
Barbecued Beef Brisket Sub at 6.99 is a bargain. It was the special of the day.

Best pizza anywhere around… as in the country. Second best pizza is located in Colorado. Staff at Scottie’s is wonderful. Pizza is great but the entire menu is wonderful.

The do catering and the portions are great for the price! Their chicken salad wrap is huge ad it comes with ! Great value! Their rib sandwich made a big buzz at work too!

Great food! Awesome pizza, don’t forget to try fried mushrooms and gyro.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in town! I try to make my way over here whenever I’m in the Blythewood area. Everything single thing I’ve ordered has been delicious and satisfying, but I have to say the Philly steak sandwich and burgers are probably my favorite. Delicious food, friendly owner and servers, and awesome portion sizes! What else is there to ask for?! *I’m surprised Guy Fieri from DDD hasn’t been here yet, but im working on it

Do not, under any circumstances, go to this restaurant… if you’re on a diet. If you are not on a diet, and looking for great food with great prices then this is the best place in town. Ok, so people on a diet should definitely come here as well. I’ve eaten here several times in the last couple years, and have yet to finish a meal. Or, eat a meal I didn’t like. Everything tastes like its homemade, and with quick service. We’ve always had great service. In fact we even made it a point to tip a bus boy one time because he went out of his way to help us with our then newborn baby. Good variety of meals, with fresh food. Good family environment. This is Blythewoods hidden gem.

They have a spaghetti diner so big we had to split it. i was the best I have had in a very long time.
It had 2 — one pound meatballs. So good.

Can’t wait to go back. The variety on the menu still has my mouth watering. My hubby got the «monster burger» I believe that’s what it was called. Since he doesn’t eat red meat they accomodated him by substituting turkey burgers. I had the pork chop sandwich. Both were huge & delicious. On top of great food we received great service which is a big deal to me. I even got a t shirt on my way out. I agree Guy Fieri definitely needs to visit here.

Best food in a restaurant attached to a gas station I’ve ever had. First visit I had the fried catfish, which was okay, but the second visit had the ribeye steak sandwich, which they knocked out of the park. Lots of things looked good and I’m definitely going back. If you are traveling through Columbia on I-​77, it’s just off exit 24.

As an individual with culinary genetics, Spaghetti isn’t a choice I gravitate towards on a first visit. However, my 8 year old was very interested and we decided we would split a plate. I am very glad for that choice.
The seasoning was amazingly wonderful in their nicely cooked GIANT meatball. The spaghetti sauce was not overpowering, and not acidic, like some cheap sauce that others would have chosen. It was, delightful.

This place was an unexpected surprise. I was doing an Open House out in the NE and I was about to starve. I remembered that I had seen a little café connected to the BP Gas Station near the intestate. I thought I would just go in and grab a Hamburger to go.
I went outside and made a few calls. I went back inside a few minutes later and my order was ready. They handed me this big heavy container. I was wondering what in the world was in that container. I only ordered a hamburger. Not even fries. Well I opened that container and there was this huge delicious looking hamburger in it. I knew there was no way I could eat that hamburger while driving, so I just went ahead and sat down. It was one of the best hamburgers I had ever had. I took some time to read the menu and then I got a menu to go.
A week or so later I went back in with a friend and we got salads. They were so fresh and amazing. A few weeks later I went again.
It’s hard to believe such great food comes from a place connected to a gas station. The prices are good and the food is so good. Great service too. I highly recommend this restaurant.
