Island Car Wash II

Cathy told me that they’d hand wash my car and get rid of the dirt. I hadn’t had a wax done in over a year.
The guy handed me the keys and grinned ear to ear. he said I wouldn’t recognize my car. yet, it was sparkly and clean. I appreciated that they did a great job and that they enjoyed making me happy.

The other day I decided the deuce coupe (not the Beach Boys version) needed a little attention, that I was just not in the mood to do. Far from my Mr. Fix It roots, I went to Island Car Wash for an oil change and an over view/​19 point inspection. Tire Kingdom, just a mile down the road was $ 4.00 cheaper and did a 24 point’er. Well, I am not impressed by the points to be checked, I know the car rather well, I care about honesty, especially when talking about automotive issues.
They corrected incorrect tire pressure, checking with my 1^st, used a good quality oil and because it was raining, gave me a credit for the car wash ($ 9.00 value) for a later date, within 5 days.
But the young mechanic, who also owned a fast Mustang, took the time to discuss 2 issues that he saw as needing some attention. I think he knew I was a bit of a gear head, but he took the time to discuss the replacement of the serpentine belt and a few other of the items that needed some future attention.
So, I will have to use the car wash credit soon, but a car wash is a car wash, a honest person who is under your hood is something to not take lightly. They have certainly won my business.

This place is a car wash, but they did a detail on my car. I just got the basic car wash and I tell you they did a great job on detail. It took about 20 minutes but my door jams were clean and everything else. I was surprised on the job they did.
Excellent car wash. They have one on Hilton Head Island also.
